Brilliant description of Polmont Kris, I was there a few times mid to late 80’s and everything apart from new wing names and added wings you said was just the way I remember it. A well enjoyed wee trip doon memory lane and like yourself I started in Kerelaw then schoolboys via bar for a mystery bowl, wow, nearly 40yrs ago.
I done all too but our list d was Rossie Farm done bed blocks etc.Gave it up in 1999 after Assault n Robbery- FTS - Read Frederick Kris aye better than the crooks autobiography.Son saying woman screw went from RETAIL to SPS 😂😂😂Really ?? is her man in there -
I got moved to the U 18 wing when it just opened kris fae allycally in 2000 ..was wild bro as you know...good stuff doing the volunteering pal it's well needed proud of ye👌 🤜🤛remember the shout outs on the radio fat bob and the love machine would fire in yer pals name's wae a song 😂😂
@@TinPailTV aye west wing but was in allycally for 6 months first i didn't want to leave coz i was settled there .. n the under 18 wing was just bush .. was the worst for slashings n we wouldn't get took to the gym was always kicking off bro as u know.. so that's ranoch hall noo .. i remember there was a wing just outside too but never got wind if that ma pals that was doing a 5 got there when i left right enough.. how often are u up there volunteering goes along way for you bro proud of ye coz there's naw many ppl doing it but you know what it's like so your perfect for that mate 💯💪🫡

Good video mate , this is my we mans channel hence the content , bang on what you say about your young self plays a major roll in your young adult life , I came through the whole polmont prison system , I got sentenced to 3.5 year at 19 back in 2001 , first went into alicali from a remand in Perth prison for serious assault, I was in ali cali for 6 weeks and was transferred to lomond Hall West Wing, green jumpers , I was there for 9 month to say it was violent would be an understatement, absolutely crazy prison , it completely humbled and changed me as a person , I went onto Rannoch Hall as this was the step before beechwood then I made it to beechwood for the last 6 month , there was a prison officer called Gary Marshall he changed my life , I still to this day keep intouch with him through email , im from dundee ,being from dundee was absolutely horrendous in polmont we were seen as foreigners to anyone from the west coast , there was only ever 3 or 4 of us in a Hall and it was dog eat dog mentality, anyway Gary Marshall ended up the governor and he climbed his way to beechwood aswell he got me into fitness and hill running etc and to this day iv never been in trouble since , back then the Glasgow Boys were notoriously out of control there was 1 guy called willy rose from drumchapel he was about 5ft but extremely violent , he'd slashed 2 people in jessyfield then got shipped to polmont and slashed another 3 or 4 people , he was a pyscopath i often think about him and where lifes taking him , I was in West Wing with alot of lifers who were recommended to under 12 years , anything more and it was jessyfield down dumfries , scary scary place , great memories to , once I got to beechwood the last 7 month were some of the best times of my life , had a job in Falkirk etc and almost moved to Falkirk wen released

@@TinPailTV yeh mate Gary Marshall was a realy good screw , and willy rose wow he was a nutcase lol , he was next door to me in ali cali and he would get drugs in because everyone was that scared of him , he would have me taking in lines in my window , the old shoe laces trick , man I used to be shiting myself incase I dropped it we were on the 2nd flat in alicali for months , then I'd need to pass it through the pipe to his Peter, to be fair he ended up pretty sound lol , you probably no a few boys i was in with then from Glasgow, I was in with the guys who murderd the guy in pollock , the guys name was Ross mackay and he had a co accused cant remember his name though , another guy Graham hope from pollock he was doing 2 year , jamesie Stewart he was from Glasgow aswell , and few boys from paisley , James Campbell and Collins garret they shot the wrong guy , James Campbell was in polmont to just before he shot that wrong guy , haha polmont was nuts , there's a documentary around about that time il try and send you it , its mental it takes you right back to the old polmont its about young prisoners and dyslexia, young guy from greenock used to get called ponto he was willy roses mate he's on the documentary its right good
Had some great laughs in Polmont. Just full of young boys always looking to cause some kind of carnage 😂 Was early 90’s I was in there,when it was the old wings. West was best

Was up there a cpl month on a rule once. Tbf the screws were decent to us normal boys up there,suppose it made a change from them dealing wae the monsters daily Whenever any of us were getting opened they would shut the whole wing down,just in case ye got an opportunity lol

Aweright mate that was a surprise,wisney expecting a video Fae ye Tae err the weekend,I only did two sentences in polmont,both in west wing,cause I'd got my red grade twice n yella once in glenochil,they refused Tae have me back🤣🤣I got the castle Fae glenochil,hated it mate,was fuck all Tae dae after the sheds know,they offered me the castle n I told them I'd bolt,so I was gave the gate pass job,cushy wee number,I cleaned the visitors waiting room n carzies,plus I cleaned the jannies break room,all-sorts in the fridge,cooker n microwave,I was eating jannies sandwiches n tannin their cans a juice,I'd tell them I'm no allowed near them unless I'm cleaning them🤣🤣perks ae the job,they'd leave their fags in their jackets n that,or their telly room had three couches,I found a few quid Doon the sides are them🤣🤣brad Welsh Fae Edinburgh was in the wing at the time,he had all-sorts a lawyers or whatever up seeing him,driving some heavy souped up Porsches n jaguars,only guy I saw get a Rolex at a visit🤣🤣
Was in with Brad too and it was boxing promoters visiting him- Went to Italy to box He was shitting it walking into Polmont with ICF n Celtic casuals in but he was in with Fifers but wasn’t happy learning I was Rangers but he was alright apart from him acting charitable whilst upto other stuff whilst doing his 4 year he boxed for Scotland from Polmont but I boxed on the terraces against him all great fun lol #ICF
