You are so brave, Ben! I couldn’t handle strangers grabbing at me. Thailand is way too much for me. Shanghai and Tokyo are at the top of my travel list. Thank you for sharing and please, please stay safe over there.
Every city has it's Bang-it Road, because every rose has it's thorns! Living near Disney World in Florida I see first hand the plight of the workers living in an expensive tourist area, for every paradice there is a cursed population. Thank you Ben for sharing both sides of every story!
Ya I would have a hard time eating meat and fish from the street. If I went, I would love to see history. I rode an elephant and a camel at the Los Angeles Zoo about 57 years ago. Lol. Good video. Thanks.
@@carolleiter6027 I’m also hesitant about it, Carol! I had a smoothie everyday and the fruit seems great but the food in the market wasn’t appetising at all!
I think that’s another reason why I’ve been hesitant to go there. Not sure about health and safety with their food. I’m also with you about being sure the animals are fairly treated and not available to humans to monetise for human greed. I thought we all have moved on from this cruel practice by now.
I try to avoid touristy spots like that thanks for the video. I’ll never go to Phuket. Phuket is everything that I hate about traveling. Touristy spots definitely suck. I’d rather be off the beaten path.
Your title certainly ‘grabbed’ me! The traffic is certainly ‘crazy’, so I am wondering how on earth do you safely cross the road? I don’t see too many crossing areas. Take care and stay safe. 💔🇨🇦
Hi Ben! I’m a bit confused. It says this dropped an hour ago however I have a thumbs up on it already and I remember the Lady boy situation from yesterday I believe. Please let me know what’s going on thanks.
Haha, Ben ! Grab her back and have a cup of coffee together ! Thailand is the world capital for vacationing, specially for bachelors. Friendly and care-free folks; nice weather and nice food ! Enjoy !
You can't be a young cutie pie Ben and not get approached by people solicing in a foreign country, you have to tone down your charisma! LOL Try wearing a wedding ring to fend off those beautys!
I would read reviews on the places in the area before I went out to choose a place. Cause five dollars seems too cheap. Also, next time you’re in Japan, there’s a zoo that’s pretty close to Tokyo. I forget the name of it but I used to go there a lot when I was a kid and they had this thing called the lion bus. And it was a short bus that had hooks on the outside of it and they will put raw meat on it and then they would ride through the lion And go up to the lions and the lions would like attacked the bus. It was amazing I Japanese people would be screaming, but me as a kid I was living my best life. 😂
@@JustShelby888 every place was $5, Shelby 😂 I wouldn’t go anywhere without looking online or ready reviews because I assume there are many bad ones. Lion bus sounds so fun!
I enjoyed your video, thank you. Again, you show me that I never will go to Thailand 😅 I donot like to be grapped. But also everything seems so cheap and dirty. There is no nice atmosphere anywhere. In comparison to that, the hotels are very nice. I hope nothing bad happened there to you 😊
I don't know why, but I always thought that Phuket was supposed to be like Paradise nice...but it really does seem very seedy. Sketchy. Like every time you turn around you're going to get stuck with a used hypodermic needle. I bet you are counting the minutes until that cruise starts! 😊
That said, and as sketchy as it is, Patong looks way better than Rawai. At least the hotels seem decent and at a very reasonable price. Both pools looked great. And speaking of water, the other thing that really surprised me is how green and murky the water is. I just assumed it would be very blue and clear.
@@mikehueter3982 HAHA I had an imagine of Phuket in my mind as well Mike, and it definitely wasn’t what I pictured! It does seem very seedy and bad things happen there! It’s not paradise for sure. Only a few days until the cruise!
