Archer generally is not as useful when it comes to large scale raid vs raid. I would recommend gunslinger over archery if you wanted to go Ranged DPS. Mage is the golden child of ArcheAge and will be for quite some time. Sorcery has a lot of damage and synergizes well with occultism or witchcraft for large and small scale pvp.
Once I get enough proficiency, I'll look to make a tutorial on that. After you are full eternal hiram, your next goal should be to get an eternal erenor weapon
