As we well know, the Yowie is often curious when a single mother with children (or alone), move into a house in a bush land setting or rural environment. This is a classic example of one of our visitors leaning about his new human neighbour.
We have a few witness sightings at Hepburn, including a leading member of the Australian Skeptics. Sightings in the surrounding areas have been building in recent years.

Put a couple of trail cameras around your house and they wont come near you. Beware they are not cudly teddy bears ,there are some that are curious about us and are harmless but there are some that are evil like some human beings. I wouldnt want them lerking around my place , if i were you i would set up some trail cameras, floodlights and trip wires to let them know theyre not wanted around your place, be safe. By the way a great interview,.
Or just get a long barrel with solids.....better chance of survival?

Recently while checking out some structures near the local reservoir I wandered into an area I'd not been in previously, I had to answer the call of nature and relieved myself under a large solitary pine tree in an old orchard paddock, about 10 minutes later while filming in a certain area (where I was feeling very uncomfortable being) I heard what I thought was pigs squealing then it sounded like monkeys screeching and I realised the noise was coming from where I'd relieved myself earlier, I couldn't get out of there quick enough when I heard the commotion going on, after reviewing the video I shot that day I saw what appears to be a large arm reach out followed by something standing up and climbing further up into the pine tree from a branch about 6 metres high, that freaked me out and I realised why I was feeling so uneasy in that certain area, it always has a bad vibe there.

Sit outside alone on a moonless night in total darkness and look for orange fire coloured eye shine.
These are 100% yowie eyes.
The 3 that stalked me at burragorang Nat park communicated with popping sounds and they also made me frozen with fear and they seem to remain invisible somehow but the eye shine was perfectly obvious.
They also had orange orbs around them which they seem to have total control over.

How long ago was this? Had an experience there with my gf about 6mo ago where I heard bipedal footsteps in the dark. There was a moon but it was a clear night. The steps travelled at a super fast pace at times.

Genetic studies of hair samples have, reportedly, shown a human female ancestry and male something else. I wasn't aware that it was well known that they are interested in single females but it makes sense.

I don't think they have moved off. I'm sure they are there daily, just watching. There are so many things wrong with her situation. Too much brush and forest around the house. It needs to be cleared back at least for fire safety. There is too much cover for them right up to the house.
She needs to show the presence of an Alpha Male there so they don't come to the house uninvited. There are at least 3-4 males around and with a woman in the home mostly, that sends the wrong signals to them.
She needs to cut back that brush and trees at least 100feet off the house, and thin out the underbrush for a further 100feet at least, cut all those bushes and hiding places for them, then put up lights around the perimeter of the house and leave them on at night.
Start shoring up her doors and windows and any other weak points in that house. Get a dog or two, they sense when they are around.
Looks like a Perfect Habitat for the Hairy Man!! 👍😉
I'm wondering if people get that sense of fear and a strong compulsion to leave the area due to pheromones. We are aware of pheromones before we're aware of scents so it could be a low-level alarm system we have that recognises large animal pheromones. People have had the same feeling and it's turned out that big cats were stalking them.
Big cats have been observed using infrasound, too.

Mooltan House has had quite a lot of Yowie activities over the last decade. Prior occupant's were feeding them regularly.

I know them too, I always feel in your case they are protecting you, it's notdangerous put some apples out they love them and send loving energy and tell it to be nice and make friends, in the aboriginal Dreamtime it's they protect you and are curious.
The Aboriginals used to kill them if they could corner one, they also have killed people and were known to kidnap the tribal women.
An intriguing report. It might've been worth examining the area around the base of the verandah. If something large & heavy "vaulted" over the verandah rail ( as portrayed in the illustrations ) & landed on the ground ( from a height of 8ft+ ) there might be some type of imprint. Perhaps a liberal sprinkling of sand, in strategic areas, may help you obtain some physical evidence. Keep up the great work!
I don’t believe our indigenous people call them Yowie. However, I’ve heard that there are stories of the hairy man abducting tribal women.

Wow what an incredible story. Also a good way to tell if it’s around is when all the forest animals go dead silent. I wonder if it lives on its own and is lonely, or just a very inquisitive yowie. Either way stay alert as these beings can appear and disappear, they have also been known to get into your mind and are very territorial. If you go on the yowie hunters website youll find a state by state list. Ive been cross referencing them to you tube. Bearing in mind not all witnesses want to be interviewed. Good luck.

Can I suggest Halogen motion sensor lights, I suggest clearing some of the bush away from the house especially the shrubbery on the walk ramp onto the verandah, open it up right to the tree line their not to fond of open well lit spaces and like below said trail cameras a great deterrent for them they hate trail cameras they tend to give a wide berth...
I strongly recommend that this lady include security cameras with night vision covering her entire perimeter including the decks. These creatures have no good intentions with women and children especially.

Poor girl, she's just at the beginning. She definitely needs to invest in some infrared camera for the verandah and some solar sensor lights for under the verandah/edge of the bush. I wish her luck.

Get a big dog or a small barking one get flood lights with sensors! Maybe a trail cam or 2 they hate them. Get some blinds for at night. Make sure all corners of the house are dimly lit with flood sensors ready

If that's the house (in that photo) are those deck doors at the top of the steps a recent addition, seeing as it was out on the deck when the friend saw it? I myself would put those doors up haha, but they look like they came with the original structure. Beautiful house and property by the way! Nice find, and congratulations on the move!

Ive had rocks thrown near me ive heard wood knocks ive been in places no noise that is spooky and i was carrying a decent gun i felt undergunned did not stay long
She needs to install some wireless security cameras. They have night vision. Like the Eufy cameras.
Yowie and Sasquatch folk are to smart for cameras you are not dealing with an animal these things have abilities that reach far beyond quantum physics they are in control not you try not to encourage them but don’t upset them either
Why not set up a nice habitat for them? Feed them , so you can study and communicate with them? Not to start a tourist attraction just a secret habitat preservation spot.

I wouldn't say that about their intentions. There are could definitely be yowies that are "evil" but there are alot of experiences that are extremely positive. I think they are interdimemsional beings and so there are ones that protect us, and ones that want to harm us.
They are a People like us, & as within our Species the Hairless Ones Human's there is good & bad amongst us
I agree.. what gets me intrigued about these characteristics is the stench and the dread associated with most of them. To me that's evil. Some reports don't have those so maybe they can control it??

No doubting the story but there definitely is pigs right thru there.
Cameras and sensor lights won't guarantee your safety. Have a priest come over and bless the house and land with holy water. Putting up crosses won't work, they'll just come and break them.
I would have bought some night vision security cameras and spread some talcum powder or cornflour over the deck only sure way to know
