Ryan, you are one hell of an awesome guy. Not only do you do incredible work that blows people away but you also take the time to show other people and encourage them to try your tips. A lot of guys tend to keep their secrets, a secret. But you are a bigger man than most and offer advice, tips, tricks, and encouragement. Because of your faux welding video on the helmet you did it inspired me to try it. I did and ended up winning a contest that landed me on the cover of a magazine. Thanks bro!!

well in all fairness, your voice is only coming through the left channel. Not for sake of arguement but I know it isn't my headphones cause all other RUclips vids and all other software works fine for me. With that aside, you do some amazing work and am learning a lot from your vids. Keep up the great work!!

Ryan, i always watch and watch about the skill tutorial of yours. I'm now learning it. :D But i have a bit problem here. I used a cheap say around $20 (in my country Indonesia around IDR 200k), 0.3 mm and i modified into 0.2 mm needle but still using a 0.3mm nozzle :D
I know that this cheap product wouldn't achieve a fine line 0.2 mm or even 0.3 mm
Want to ask, is 0.3 mm is still can do a fine line or a detail paint? or i must buy 0.2 mm too to make a detail paint? Cause i want to learn realistic paint on tshirt. I don't have the budget to buy 2 good penbrush. For meanwhile i only can effort 1 penbrush, which size is the better for me the 0.3 mm or 0.2 mm so i could work for multi purpose penbrush (for a meanwhile). Please some advice for me? Thanks

I use a .3 mm tip and it works just fine for the detail I achieve, but one thing that helps me is I use a reducer and build up my colors in layers to achieve the high detail try using a thinner paint it should help work out your issues your having with a bigger tip and needle combo. As far as using a smaller needle with a large tip you in turn let more paint out uninitially, you should always use the same tip and needle combo. Check out coastairbrush.com for more videos or here on you tube there are lots of tutorials on fixing bent needles, making reducers, mixing paint, and setup for air pressure etc. Good luck

Man my name is ben brooks and I just recently subscribe. But I have a little bit of a problem and was hoping that you might be able to help me out. I have too badger renegade krome and I've had them replaced several times because the krome keeps lifting out of the cup . Now I don't use any harsh chemicals. I use a water based paint and paper towel and water to clean it out but for some reason I keep running into this problem. I would really appreciate some feedback when you get a minute. Thank you

Manufacturers use less platting on the inside of the cup to help keep cost down. I don’t have Badgers, but have 2 Iwata brushes that have both lost the plating on the inside. This doesn’t effect how the brush performs at all. I’m willing to bet all of Ryan’s brushes are completely stripped inside just through use alone. I worried about it too until someone told me to look at Dru Blair’s Micron. That has lost a bunch of platting on the outside too, just through use. Don’t worry about it at all, run whatever water or solvent based paint you want through it and have fun.
