In fact, Paragus was the first one to make the connection that Broly and Goku were born on the same day. Broly didn’t realize Goku was the baby next to him when Goku delivered the final finishing blow, solidifying that one day Goku would be his undoing.
Actually, the last one is pretty interesting. I think it implies that anything that reminds them of that state when he was an infant and was just powerless. brings that anger out of him or that frustration or whatever that is. "When broly loses, He remembers when he was a baby." Koyama doesn't say that he remembers Goku crying specifically. When mentioning when he was a baby it mentions that the trauma from when he was a baby was SEPERATE from the shock of meeting Goku. I think the visuals of the movie themselves is what throw it out of array as opposed to what's actually said. Since the original Japanese version of Broly didn't hate Goku till AFTER he lost to Goku means that once again translators messed up our interpretation. Makes me wonder how many other things in anime we think are dumb simply because we were exposed to the dumb version first. 🤔
Also, Koyama keeps mentioning Broly's trauma as a key trigger. Which actually means that th1st theory and the 4th one might not be separate. So Koyama did convey that idea well enough. Why the translators changed Paragus's line from mentioning "Goku's Ki" into mentioning "Goku's Crying" is beyond me.

Based on what we've seen in the film and the interview with Takao Koyama it's quite clear that the reason Broly hates Goku is because his pride was hurt due to himself succumbing to Goku's crying in a battle of wills which resulted in him crying and being laughed at by the 2 Saiyan adults in the room thus making him feel humiliated.
