  • Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a 2009 action-adventure game based on the Ghostbusters media franchise. Terminal Reality developed the Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 versions, while Red Fly Studio developed the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii versions. The game was released after several delays in development and multiple publisher changes. In North America, all versions of the game were published by Atari Interactive, while in Europe, the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 3 versions were published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. A separate game for the Nintendo DS with the same title was developed by Zen Studios and released at the same time, albeit with substantial differences in the gameplay and story.
The game follows the player's character as a recruit in the Ghostbusters, a team of parapsychologists who pursue and capture ghosts. The game features elements of typical third-person shooters, but instead of a traditional gun, each player is equipped with a Proton Pack, and other technological means of fighting and capturing ghosts. The game's plot is set two years after Ghostbusters II, in 1991, with the Ghostbusters team training the player's character while investigating paranormal activities in New York City.
The game received generally favorable reviews from critics, and more than three million copies were sold. A remastered version for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, developed by Saber Interactive and published by Mad Dog Games, was released on October 4, 2019.
Footage was captured using Component Cables and Elgato Game Capture HD (software) on a PAL PlayStation 2.
Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy the video!

Looks like it kinda resembles the movies and does a good job as a Ghostbusters game on the PS2. I might try this one someday. Keep it up

They did for both the realistic version and the stylized version of the video game.
The realistic version was developed by Terminal Reality and released for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and the stylized version was developed by Red Fly Studio and released for PlayStation 2, PlayStatio Portable, and Wii.

I've played both the realistic version and the stylized version of Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and out of the two, I would have to prefer... the realistic version.
When the realistic version was in development, the designers who worked for Terminal Reality should've also included a cutscene like the one at 7:02, have the character models of Peter, Ray, Egon, and the Rookie gather like they did at 7:43, and use the same dialogue heard at 8:24, 12:23, 13:38, 21:36, 24:11, 36:32, 37:39, and 37:53.

This like the PSP Version my favourite. PS2 is the same but the graphics and controls. PS3 the same but the the graphics and story are changed mostly the graphics are changed. PS4 is a port of PS3 with better graphics.
