in this video I wanted to discuss a very powerful item called the crystallization catalyst in the first descendant and show you a guide on how to use it and what it does!
be careful though as the first descendant crystallization catalyst will reset your character to level 1 D:

Hello I just noticed something
After using this modules your max slot went from 70 to 66
The mod then half from 10 to 5
So in the end we are getting a single extra slot ? 😅
@@-Zekt- cause he went back to level 1 after using it, once he gets to level 40 again his max slot will be 70 again

So it's Forma essentially.That sounds like it's going to be tediously annoying..
the catalyst will work on descendants and weapons obviously and you can slap a symbol on each slot if you want to the only thing you need to do is leveling again just like in warframe
If you didn't know. The modules that cost 0 actually gives you plus module capacity when you upgraded them. You can get up to +10 💪

You need to enhance your kick skill first before anything else - enhancing it gives you 1 module capacity per upgrade for an extra 10 total

Do you know why after I use the catalysts it just adds me 3 slots and not half the mod? I did it with the shock punch too and it gave me 3 instead of 5

i knew it this would be in the game i was finding it strange that we had the same thing as in warframe where you could reset the weapon or warframe to put a module symbol on it to make it even stronger but at the workbench i saw nothing that could do that so i was thinking they didnt put it in the game yet but this is going to be awesome thanks for the vid and telling wich item to use to do this

Anyone could explain why the capacity goes down from 70 to 66 ? ... When assigning the socket, the mod gives 5 free spaces, but remove 4 from the capacity... so you only gain 1 free space by resetting the level... ?
You got to lvl up back to 40 to get the slot back
Is it confirmed that if you put it on your sub that you can get +15 slots instead of 10.

You can also put a type on your sub module slot. Will increase the capacity by 50% from extra 10 to 15.

@@xxero214 yeah. The sub skill (melee) general increases the capacity 10 if fully upgraded. If you do the level reset with the catalyst you can put a rune there. Instead of halving the point cost like the other you add an extra 50% to it. Which is 5 points at max rank.

@@CurvyBobbieyou need to have one catalyst and the descendant has to be level 40. Then you use the option in the mod menu.
You get to choose which rune and which slot when you use the catalyst to reset your character.
Did you know if you upgrade shock punch upgrade your module capacity
So after you use the Catylist and reset your Descendant do u get more mod capacity as u level up again?
Basically if you know how a forma works in warframe you'll understand how it works here. Same amount of mod capacity as before, you just have more room to work with. Use an energy activator to get more mod capacity once, bumping it up to 70 something. Works like an orokin reactor from warframe as well.
It puts a symbol on the slot, match the symbol, cut the cost of the mod in half rounding up on odd numbers
Theres another item that increases mod capacity by 30 i think. The trainer gives you one for free but you have to farm alot to craft one. Only works on one character
What’s the best to put on your character module? What about the weapon?
Generally whatever your most expensive mod is, plan ahead don't just forma for no reason. Also try and hold off until you start mid maxing before that, such as maxing the cap through melee mod and catalyst or whatever this game calls it

Thank you for this. I thought there was a bug in the game and I was furious when my character dropped back to level 1 right before my raid boss fight!. That item NEEDS to have a warning pop up that says if you use it you'll be reset!

You get your first Crystallization Catalyst to build from the robot dude in Albion. He gives the materials to craft one for the sub quest.
Upgrade that kicking mod as it will also increase your mod capacity

Yes and also remove a symbol as well but still resets I believe. So be careful and plan ahead.

Don't forget upgrading your kick punch sword or whatever your using increasing your mod capacity by 10 at full rank
Change the polarity of a slot in your weapon or your hero it’s called polarity
You can put more than one ultimate characters come with 2 extra and if you get the 5k version you’ll get 2 extra catalyst we should be able to socket everything including skill and sub slots

I haven’t get enough resources to check a maxed out but I’m very confident you can put as many as you would like. Probably won’t be necessary every single slot to maxed out full mod max lvls but I guess you have this freedom. That’s how works in warframe and that’s pretty much the same exact system.
@@andersonpersch6166 probably don’t need it but to have most potential for any build having every mod being halfed is strong cause you have higher numbers from mod without them costing 16 points

So the descendant lvl drops to lvl 1 and you level to 40 again? Does the drop in lvl decrease my stats and by leveling up again do stats increase? Confused 🤔😅

You could just skip that farm you got 5 capacity from and fully upgrade your "kicking" mod to get 10 extra capacity. I'm sitting at 80 max capacity on my bunny atm.
So just to be clear. I'll need a catalyst for each module slot I specify as C A M X or R? Each time I do this my character is reset to level 1 and I can do this on all my characters?
@@badtupram yeah, you have to be level 40 to activate it, so you have to use it, reset, level up again and do it all over. You need a catalyst whenever you want to put a socket type on

Might've forgotten to mention, or I must've missed it, that your character drops to lvl 1 after usage and that you can only use it once your character is max level

I wish I would have seen this 10 min ago. Just used one of this with a few more end level areas to finish and now I have to relevel my character back to 40 before I can finish the campaign😢
Probably should have mentioned some spots to find the catalyst blueprint. Access Info can point you to it but I think a lot of people still don't use thwt enough.

For anyone that has played Warframe its exactly like a Forma
what happened at 4:39? how did it free up one capacity?
The Toxic module costed 13 he then moved it the a matching socket type which halved the cost of the module down to 7 . The skill increased def was there before only costing 5 but when he moved it. It increased back to its original cost of 10.
Basically 13-6=7
5=5=10
Total giving him +1 capacity

Always go with uneven upgrade numbers because it will halve unevenly and you save 1 point

No it just resets the descendant level which only goes to 40.

You can get to 40 pretty quick if you run the Kingston mission with the 21 waves of enemies 2-3 times . I'm already back at 25 after completing it one time and about 3 missions on white gulch.

An item called an Energy Activator, looks like a mechanical mushroom and when you use it on 1 descendant you increase your module capicity by I believe 30, can only be done once per descendant and DOES NOT reset you to level 1 like the Catalyst does.

Whatever you put on that slot that doesn't match the socket it will cost more. You can move it elsewhere and it will be normal cost

I was level 15 and used said item and it didnt reset my level like you said. If you use it at level 40 it reset you tho.
