I live in a very loud and busy city. Work today was crazy, and after coming home I was feeling tense and anxious. I put up RUclips and this was randomly recommended to me (though I do watch the occasional fall season cozy vid), so I don’t quite yet know how your episodes work but gosh, I am absolutely loving this happy autumnal bliss you’ve created!!! I live in a calm district but still near Munich (I have filmed many beautiful landscapes in the south of Germany and then the magic of editing makes it look like I live in the countryside, especially in the first episode when I filmed with the same clothes in the Austrian alps and then at home), but the truth is I work full time as a bookkeeper and struggle with stress. @@thecottagelibrary I did notice you lavender proportion was quite high in the video - maybe add a bit less for a lighter touch. I tend to go for 1 part of lavender to 2 or 3 parts of chamomile, depending how fresh my lavender is and I only add a sprinkle of lavender to my black tea (or even coffee sometimes).

I have always loved little jars of spices and james and teas and curds and applesauce. I find it visually so cozy and homey. Weather I use them or not... I just love looking at them on a shelf or counter. Also , watching you make those adorable pastries reminds me of being a little girl and imagining baking all those wonderful goodies when I grew up! I am tempted to make a few . You made it look very doable.

Hello 👋 I am new here and have been catching up. I am in awe of what you manage to do yourself 😳 i also saw a couple of difficult comments one about canning . I can see the ladies point that someone watching could try and make jam that way too not realising it's a story so thats a very good point to be careful with food items or potential poisonous plants as someone new might not realise. Also someone saying about it being fake. I have also unsubscribed from a few cottagey youtube channels that clearly have a big production team behind them yet they promise it's just their solitary self filming. I think a few of these channels are actually set up by RUclips but its so disappointing that these people are actually lying. I always unsubscribe when i realise that. I guess it's a massive compliment to you that they think you are a big production. You are doing amazing. 🍀

Your videos are lovely! I found them randomly and they are very relaxing. However, as a veteran canner, berry jams should be immersed into a hot water bath for a minimum of 10 minutes for long term storage and to eliminate the risk of your jam developing botulism. Putting them directly onto a shelf while skipping this step is dangerous. Please be careful.
Oh thank you so much for your comment and for taking the time to explain that! 🤎One of the jam jars went actually directly to the fridge to be eaten on the following day and the other one I used it for the pastries. Just the apple sauce jars went to the shelf but those were unfortunately bought. Being just one person to create the whole series from scripts to editing is being really challenging, I always write in the description that this series is just a work of fiction but if sometimes the video give the wrong impression, it could go terribly wrong. I’ll try to film and edit in a way that don’t confuse viewers. Thank you for the warning!! 🤎🍂

I recently read somewhere that walking or traveling while observing the changing landscape generates a state of mental trance that makes thoughts and ideas flow like a crystal clear river. I feel like your video does the same to me, because listening to a fascinating story that doesn't match the scenes I'm watching (also fascinating) gives me the same state of mind. I have always loved little jars of spices and james and teas and curds and applesauce. I find it visually so cozy and homey. Weather I use them or not... I just love looking at them on a shelf or counter. Also , watching you make those adorable pastries reminds me of being a little girl and imagining baking all those wonderful goodies when I grew up! I am tempted to make a few . You made it look very doable.

Hello 👋 I am new here and have been catching up. I am in awe of what you manage to do yourself 😳 i also saw a couple of difficult comments one about canning . I can see the ladies point that someone watching could try and make jam that way too not realising it's a story so thats a very good point to be careful with food items or potential poisonous plants as someone new might not realise. Also someone saying about it being fake. I have also unsubscribed from a few cottagey youtube channels that clearly have a big production team behind them yet they promise it's just their solitary self filming. I think a few of these channels are actually set up by RUclips but its so disappointing that these people are actually lying. I always unsubscribe when i realise that. I guess it's a massive compliment to you that they think you are a big production. You are doing amazing. 🍀

Your videos are lovely! I found them randomly and they are very relaxing. However, as a veteran canner, berry jams should be immersed into a hot water bath for a minimum of 10 minutes for long term storage and to eliminate the risk of your jam developing botulism. Putting them directly onto a shelf while skipping this step is dangerous. Please be careful.
Oh thank you so much for your comment and for taking the time to explain that! 🤎One of the jam jars went actually directly to the fridge to be eaten on the following day and the other one I used it for the pastries. Just the apple sauce jars went to the shelf but those were unfortunately bought. Being just one person to create the whole series from scripts to editing is being really challenging, I always write in the description that this series is just a work of fiction but if sometimes the video give the wrong impression, it could go terribly wrong. I’ll try to film and edit in a way that don’t confuse viewers. Thank you for the warning!! 🤎🍂
