Don't spend the money for a second person. You do a great job. The tripod idea might help you but I've never really been disappointed.

I agree with the opinion of a tripod to film the demonstration aspects of the videos. The POV that you're doing now is far more personal, it's almost like we're there with you. Keep up the good work.

The videos I have seen with a “demonstrator” person they are often in the way of the things I want to see or distractions from the subject. I think that the key moments you need to demonstrate like shower height, bed size, or seating comfort can easily be achieved with a quick tripod shot. Otherwise you already do an awesome job showing everything and being informative without a lot of unnecessary chatter.

Suggest just using a tripod and do B roll shots of you demonstrating opening compartments or using equipment onboard. May take you a little more time with editing but you'll save $$$. Saw you recently at the San Diego Blue Compass RV show as I was leaving. Keep it up 👍 🤙

You could try using a mini tripod. You could keep it attached throughout the whole video and just use when you need it. Set it on a nearby surface to do demonstrations.

I agree don’t spend your money on a second person. You do a great job with your videos. Maybe a tripod to hold the camera if you want to be hands free to demonstrate things that are not standard. Just a thought. Great work though!

You could 'hire' a teenage family member... I've never known any to refuse a Zaxby's gc for payment 🤔
Or I agree w setting up a tripod.
    Thanks for the info.
I also like the idea of drawers underneath the dinette benches. I don't like lifting up things when I can just pull them out.

I do have an insta360 X4 but I use it for my shorter videos. The video files for this long of a video on a 360 camera are absolutely massive!

Use a tripod and come prepared. Every video has you saying 'I don't know' or 'I didn't know'. Be a prepared salesman who knows their product inside and out. You'll become a better expert in your field.

    • @mylesrv

Im trying my best, honestly. There’s literally thousand of RVs out there, all with different equipment, specs, etc. and a lot to learn, as it’s a given that as soon as I get one product perfected, they change things. I film anywhere from 4 to 10 different RVs on a day I go to film. I have to because I travel to locations that aren’t just down the street from my house. Some of them, I drive/fly to and am only there a few days and have to cover as much as I can. There’s only so much information the human brain can contain when researching that many different brands at once, and then to recite it all with a camera rolling, no matter what level of research is put in, I likely miss something. I have figured out that if I cover the same brand through multiple videos in a row, that helps as by the time I get to the 3rd or 4th one of the same product, I’ve been saying the same thing over and over and it’s locked in. Im always striving to be better and be the best I can be, but I’m patient with myself and I’m okay with not being perfect. Nothing beats time when it comes to perfecting a craft, and I’m sure with time I will keep getting better.
