THANX FOR SHOWING ABOHAR - SRI GANGANAGAR SECTION. WE USED TO GO FROM FAZILKA TO ABOHAR BY BUS TO SEE FILM IN CINEMA HALL. AT THAT TIME THERE WAS NO RAILWAY LINE CONNECTING FAZILKA WITH ABOHAR.
Bahut acchi jankari se bhari yatra , hum bhartiye log agar apne aas paas safaai rakkhen to hamara desh bhut sundar hai , railway lines aor sadkon par padi gandgi dekh kar bahut Dukh hota hai . Jai hind
Thanks Rakesh ji for your valuable time and regularly. Sfai ka to haal puchho mat sarkaar bhi kagzon main bahut koshish kar rahi hai. Deewarin pe slogan likhne main kroron ka kharcha kar dia gia, but no result. Parks main sfai rakhne babat jo seminar hote hain unme tea, water and snacks disposable cups, bottle and plates main serve hote hain aur vhan gandgi ka dher lag jaata hai. Bas all is well. Jai. Hind.
Abohar was the City where I joined as a Telephone operator ,my first Job on 23rd March 1978. The telephone exchange was just 50 metres away outside the railway station on the over bridge road that leads to nai Abadi locality across the other side of abohar railway station. I remained there up to Oct 1978 and never returned to this City again up to this Day. It was an important cotton mandi those days and had many cotton pressing and ginning factories. Mahavir ka dhaba was the eating place where we had our lunch and dinner. This dhaba was just inside the mandi and very popular among the visitors serving a vegetarian diet with no restriction on eatings. There was a non vegetarian Bhatia ka dhaba just outside the telephone exchange building across the road that Used to serve non vegetarian food. Dr Chander Bhan had a clinic on the Same road .He was a homeopath but even served allopathic medicines to us in case of our medical emergencies. To get leave in case of emergencies he Used to give us medical certificates to get these leaves. There was a Bale ki Chai ki dukaan that Used to serve tea non stop from early mornings to late night.
Thanks Jogeshwar ji for your valuable time and sharing your experience in the city. Hats off to your valuable narration. Hoping your presence in future also🙏.
