I struggle with reading the Bible at times. I believe in Jesus but I know my faith won’t get build up if I don’t get the Word of God which is Jesus. I don’t want to half way it with God. I just want to be all in with him. It’s very hard to read the word for me. I know God is calling me though. I thank you all for doing this message. It really blessed me.

This is so honest and REAL. I truly see the Holy Spirit working in your heart to draw you to Him. I think reading through the book of John will be a wonderful step for you! Reading it slowly, a few verses a day, and simply praying through what you read! Don't be discouraged if you don't understand everything. Highlight what stands out to you, and pray through it! What you don't understand, you can look up in a commentary/or online later! I see you already read Susans comment, but finding a study Bible can be SO helpful! Thank you so much Ellen, Ashley and Taylor. I have been struggling on studying the Bible for long time, and I feel lazy when I think reading the bible. Since, last week I had a voice in my heart saying, Stephen, please study the Bible and start with the book of John, then I put reminders on my phone to remind me on to study my bible but sometimes I just ignore the reminders and feel lazy to open the bible.
When I came across your video about studying the book of John on youtube yesterday, I just said to myself this is the confirmation, indeed God is talking to me and He want me to know Him more.
I want to thank you again, I will visit your website and find something that will help me to study God’s Word.

Thank you for this video. It was great. And what Taylor said about Being afraid of God, but not Jesus, yet God is loving. He is Jesus. It makes you think.
"Jesus is the image of the invisible God"❤️ It can be hard to think or talk about the trinity, and I love that you are wrestling with your thoughts about WHO God is! The fact that our God is triune is so important! God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three distinct persons, but one God. To know Jesus is to know the Father! So is "The Word" referring to Jesus or the Bible or both?
I’m confused, how does Jesus dying save us? Why would God need human blood in order to forgive mankind? I thought God was merciful and doesn’t need human sacrifice. And if Jesus is God, how can God sacrifice himself? I want to understand but this seems like it’s against the nature of an all merciful God. A merciful God would only need our repentance to forgive us, not the sacrifice of an innocent human. Also Jesus didn’t “offer himself as a sacrifice” according to the Bible. On the contrary he said “My Lord, my Lord, why have You forsaken me?” Seems like it was not his will and that he is calling out to another God. Please make a video about this?
