As for his plans… I keep hoping to see at least some sketchings on a bar napkin or something… anything. Otherwise to keep it all in his head from conception to final coat of varnish is simply genius.

It is not because you don't see it that there is no plan. Good woodworkers have detailed plan to avoid mistake, it is the first thing teached when studying woodworking. In french there is a proverb in woodworker world saying more or less "Who's singing while drawing, will cry when assembling".

What every quilter would love to have for all the different threads/colors. I can think of so many things that could go into that cupboard for quilting projects. Needles. thimbles, machine needles, bobbins and so many more things. Loved the work you do and cutting all that window glass for every little square, you are amazing and you have a very lucky wife to have you to make these things for her.

I’ve been woodworking since the carpenters at grade 1 of my school gave us all the offcuts pine bucket of nails and hammer each. I well remember sorting the off cuts for 3 pieces same dimension. I carefully crafted a stool whilst others just banged nails about....that was 1953. In my shed now ( shed I built beside the house I built) are 2 caravans (camper trailers). 1 is all but done and the other almost. One aluminium Airstream copy the other Pino 2010 copy I built onto the trailer I made years ago. This Christmas I’ll take one of them up or down the coast (Australia Qld) with a for sale sign. Then take the other n do same they are built as weekenders or coffee kiosks. Why am I telling you all this? Because men like this inspire me. Give me reason to keep trying. Your workshop is so clean and tidy...mine is not. I have multiple measures sic cos I keep losing them. I am unable to make what you have done here. Hey, I’m only 76 so got another 20yrs or so to learn....after I start and finish a special camper trailer that is already in my mind.
Please keep inspiring us...I plan on living way beyond a 100yrs maybe a 1000 so I’ve got the time....

I think what I enjoy most about these videos is of course the craftsmanship, but what I most enjoy the craftsmanship without the reliance on the brand name items. This is not to say you are not using quality tools. I don’t think anyone doubts that quality tools are necessary. But there’s not this huge emphasis on Festool or dewalt or Milwaukee products. I pretty sure I’ve seen you use dewalt drill but it’s not some emphasized matter. There’s no call to attention that you may or may not be sponsored by so and so company. Your craftsmanship truly speaks for itself. It’s inspiring. Salute to you sir 👌🏾

I have come to love the simple, yet elegantly thought-out details of your woodworking. I also have come to be inspired by how you look at many things society has deemed trash, but with your craftsman's eyes, you see value & beauty in it. I am trying to do much more of this because of you albeit nowhere at your level. The blending of hand tools and modern machinery is fascinating and much appreciated. Lastly, your approach to how you work and the steady even speed is so underrated, so many channels are only about the finished thing. The joy you obviously have is well worth the journey! Don't ever lose your love of what you do here!

The "ho"nest love you have for your artestry and obviously your wife and the "hum"ble way you express it turning what most people call trash into beautiful art again. But in my selfishness I must tell you that what I enjoy most is the way I feel while watching your videos and what I experience when you display your canvas at the end of the video. You see I get to experience all that love you put into it and it''s amazing! For those of you that said his wife is "very lucky" may have missed the point...I believe that Jason would tell you that he is the "lucky" one. Thank you. This brought so many memories back of watching my mother before she passed. I would sit and just watch silently as she would make these wonderful treasures with no nails. Just chisels, a saw, different hammers, sanding, dowels and glue. Wonderful!!!

Wow! Your are mesmerizing to watch and all your projects come out so wonderful! My husband and I love watching your videos. My husband asks every single time “how does he prevent the boards from glueing down to the table?” What’s your secret?

No big secret, I just rub the surface down with candle wax every few weeks. Not a lot sticks to it.
