Very nice video. I was there in Oct 2019 visiting from the United States. And it was cool up there. Was with my extended family who live in Batangas area.

From the subdivision where my wife and I have a house we can see People's Park and if we went in a straight line it's only 6km from the house. We face the road going up to the top. Sometimes the clouds completely cover the top and I wouldn't want to try to drive when it's so cloudy. The view from up there is amazing and I took so many pictures up there. My wife didn't like being up there but I want to go there again. I wish that it was only a 6km drive to get there but I think with the new bridge that opened off of Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road that it helps to save some time getting there to People's Park. It was crowded on the day I was there with my in laws and it took a little while to park. Living near Tagaytay is great. I really wonder what the view was like up there when Taal erupted. We had rain mixed with volcanic ash on that Sunday when the eruption occurred. I could actually hear the crackling sound of the volcano when it was erupting. My brother in law and I took a jeepney to the top and I think that we only paid 40 pesos at that time in December of 2019.
Hi @Steven Carson oh you dont want to experience that.. when ashes fell, it made its way to the city and lots of people were coughing.. stay safe, enjoy always 😊💗
@@manilagirltours8940 I did experience that eruption and the dust was not as bad because of the rain that it was mixed with. I was outside on the terrace and I was in the rain but I didn't realize that my arms were getting dirty because of the ash. It took me a few minutes to figure out that it was from the eruption. It was an experience that I won't forget.
Wala na bang mga jeep na naghahatid sa itaas? Dati kasi noong visit namin, pumarada kami sa ibaba na may maraming tindahan. Just before you go up the hill, may mga passenger jeeps na naghahatid sa itaas at ibaba. There are too many people walking up and down the hill, did they choose to do that on their own o nawala na ang mga jeeps? Another great video, Lady K!!!😊😊😊
Hi @danilo serrano i believe there are still jeepney going up but very few. Because upon going down the hill, i saw this jeepney asking people to ride and drive them down the park. thanks for watching! 😊🙏💙💛🍿
Hi @Walter Perry as i have researched, it was 1st because of the instability of the government of "Marcos'" (the former president) is the principal reason why he cancelled. 2nd its because of the security and congressional objection's to president Reagan's visit following he murder of Philippines opposition leader Benigno S. Aquino Jr. at the Manila airport that time.
@@manilagirltours8940 dear you feel same as me. Usa loves you and the philippines and will always protect your shores even if presidents care or not.
