She said she will be living in Brazil in the future. She comes here often. I don't know by now but... she had an apartment in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro Southeast). Bahia is in the Northeast and she probably loves the beaches there. Michael Jackson was in Rio and Bahia too. You can see him on the clip "They don't care about us". The clip was recorded on both cities.

I could see Dionne doing Barbra Jordan. Jordan was a great speaker and no nonsense lady. She'd tell it like it is.

I never thought DW had a good voice to begin with - so not singing around the house was probably a good thing! I am still shocked this woman made it as big as she did.
Dionne Warwick is a phenomenal singer, but a lot of her hits showcased her as a pop singer. When she chose to, she could really be a powerhouse. My favorite vocal performance I've come across of hers is this one, live in concert from 1975, singing a Stevie Wonder song. Love her as a singer but never been able to respect since her 90’s commercials for Physic Hot Line. A complete fraud whose largest clientele come from the least educated and lowest income levels. Dionne sold a lot of records, did a lot of television and many concerts. She didn’t (or shouldn’t) have needed to shill for a sham like that.
