@@latumaiderthen why the hell is she making mistakes every freaking second? I don’t think native speakers are so dumb to not speak their own language incorrectly 😅
@@lilablack8697 simply because she was born and raised there. Do you think native speakers don't make mistakes, they have always a perfect grammar? Yes, they do, in every language. Even I do it in my first language. The problem is that she's not a professional teacher like Kevin.
I hear: "I'm finished to ice skating" But it makes no difference, it's equally wrong. Pretty much everything she says sounds like broken English, I can't believe she calls herself a native English teacher.
It takes courage to call all those people out for their so called teaching. But as for me, if people are into their entertainment qualities, then so be it. There are enough professional teachers on RUclips . And it’s easy to recognize them: they never call perfectly normal and common expressions “basic”.
Kevin !!!! you amazingly stand out ❤ when I first started watching your videos ,there were few views and now you are going viral 😀 and the views are skyrocketing ❤🎉congratulations guys 🎉you've earned it to yourselves ❤
I think it’s great to speak about actual mistakes but there is no sense to speak about the pronunciation of “come” cuz people pronounce it differently. And in calm and palm there is no [l]. Dictionaries are not lying.
will try again: • Saying I/we are finished implies that the person in question is in a state of being finished with some task. It is referring to the *person* and not specifically the task. • I/we have finished refers to the *task* itself being finished or complete, and perhaps the person has moved on to another task or is waiting for something to occur.
@@SantaMaria-j3u I had never heard that form "we're finished". Only in present perfect. But never in that other way which I find very odd, I didn't know it exist. Thanks 🌷
I think that “I'm finished skating” is incorrect because it refers to “I’m” it does not refer to the state of skating being finished. In my view, it's correct to say “I’ve finished skating” because it refers to the action. It’s all about active and passive voice.
Today I heard someone say the word "facts" and it sounded like "fax". I wonder if it's just my ear or a real pronunciation where there is no T or maybe it's an unreleased T or something. I would pronounce 'facts' with the TS sound like in 'cats'. I also hear a native speaker from the US say 'is' instead of 'it's' on purpose sometimes. She has probably picked up the habit from English learners, she knows the difference but sometimes uses the wrong thing
I think that's how they say it when speaking fast, same thing with "texts" they just say "tex" as in "I got two "tex" from her" I think some people skip the C in the word "fact" I always hear people saying: "in fat" same in "shocked" I hear "I was shot" 😂 could be a regional thing.
I used to watch her too, and didn’t realize she was kinda wrong, not only the way she speaks but also the way she teaches the language. I mean, she looks American and she sounds like one, I don’t think she isn’t. So tbh, idk…

❤❤❤ woooow stunning ever said words. Gotcha 👌👌❤❤❤
I really thought she was a real native speaker of the English language, but I was mistaken. Thank you very much Kevin! ❤
She is indeed a native speaker, she's from the USA, but she's not a trained teacher like Kevin
How would you consider that? She doesn’t even have an American accent. It’s really obvious that English is her second language😅

i can tell she is from Ukraine or Russia.

Should any non-native speakers want to learn English language properly online, I strongly suggest this teacher.
One of the best teachers in the entire Milky Way. 💌 🌹 💕🙏 👏🤗
Kevin sir u r an amazing teacher..just great..great great.🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
I take pleasure in watching your videos! Deeply appreciate your effort ❤🙏
I loved this lesson thank you🎉🎉🎉🎉
Excelente video, Kevin. You're an awesome English teacher. THANKS A LOT!!!!!
GREAT LESSON
Dear Kevin, I appreciate you for the perfect lessons. ✊🙏
Great lesson? Thank you!
Brillant teacher I really appreciate it
This is really what we, foreigners learning American English), are eager to know but not taught at school. (Please correct this, thanks).
See you the next time! You too.
Thank you so much.
Have a good evening. ☺👍

Thanks a lot kevin . Your lessons are very intеresting for me❤
Don't get me wrong, guys but everyone says it's calm [ka:m, ] palm [pa:m} there's no L
I love your channel the most! Because we're genuinely taught ❤❤❤.

Thanks❤️

Ruler [ru:lə (brit), ru:lrr (Ame) ] So "rr" is still a vowel syllable
I always suspected the L wasn't completely silent in these words, this clarifies it, thank you Kevin.
Wow, it’s not easy to notice these little mistakes. I need more of this! Great channel!
'full review' would be better than 'whole review'
❤❤❤
About the word skate, I believe it was just “skate” with the “t” pronounced! I did repeat that word several time to check whether I was wrong.
I love prepositions 😂!
Maybe she meant three sessions of skating...for her and her crew. It didn't look like she was renting skates at that window.

👍🏻🙏🏻
If she is "finished with ice skating", she will never skate again. Maybe after a hard fall. Cover "finished with" in a video.
