I found out my oldest daughter was a stripper on my 40th bday by her mom, my ex wife, I spoke my mind and my daughter knew I disapproved. Sad part was, no one in her immediate circle ever denounced what she was doing. I live in another state and she had been doing this for over a half a year when I found out. She told me she was working at olive garden the whole time. She was 19. She isn't stripping anymore but the excuses she gave to try and cover for her choice of work were disgusting. The saddest was her saying, well, I'm not a prostitute, they just want to see me for my body... why has SM made it so easy for women to just choose promiscuity over raising a family? She has a kid and my main issue was her not spending time with him bc she slept all day, traveled and stripped at night. The people around her encouraged this to the point they took her kid in court.. it took me sending SS of our messages and what I told her was happening to wake her up. I just hope she listened

Seeing Charlie Kirk in this podcast changed me from being neutral to him, to being a full supporter. Wow. I didn't disagree with a lot of his points previously, but I have a whole new level of respect for him. What a genuine human he is. An example for all.

I was smoking a cigar and enjoying the absolutely beautiful autumn day with my beautiful dog. He asked if I believed in God and I told him I accepted Jesus into my heart. He told me I didn't because I was smoking a cigar, which meant I was going to hell. I genuinely didn't know what to say. I was disgusted by his approach. Nobody is going to convert to Christianity this way. I told him he embarrassed me.

God is love. He uphold the cause of the innocent and redeems the humble and contrite. Jesus died on a cross to pay the price so that you don't have to.

As a non believer, I feel that people like him don't give themselves enough credit. God isn't stopping you from screaming at those people, you're just a good and fairly rational person. But unfortunately I think religion is absolutely necessary for some people, its only a problem when it's used to make policy or as an excuse to justify violence.
I get what you’re coming from but as a Christian myself I know what he’s saying. The Bible refers to the Holy Spirit as God’s spirit, and the Holy spirit’s characteristics are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Meaning that when we are truly living for God’s intended purpose for us, we experience more and more of the Holy Spirit inside of us, and it changes us.
Romans 8:9-10 - But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)

The New Testament was completely written by the end of the 1st century, well within living memory of any of the events. Every book was written by an eye witness or one who interviewed eye witnesses. The oldest surviving copies of some those books are from around the year 200.
There is zero proof of any major alterations to the books. The only differences are ones of minor punctuation and grammatical errors. Your belief in the words is irrelevant to how accurate those words have been passed down through the millennia.

For me it's how you treat other people and how you behave towards other human beings. Respecting them, helping them if possible, not stealing, cheating/ tricking others and accepting people for who they are regardless of race or nationality. We're all humans on this planet.

For me, you shouldn't behave well just because you think you're being watched. You should behave well because you are a decent human.
Also behaving well.just so you can go to heaven negates the whole point of behaving well.
To me maybe religion was good to try and guide people in much much simpler times on how to behave but now it's not necessary as we have evolved as a species.

Christians accept others. That's the gist of it. We accept sinners, we know we are sinners, and we know Jesus accepted as just as we are unconditionally.
That acceptence is unique to Christianity, and we're following Jesus because we want to, not because we have to. Everyone follows him because he accepted us unconditionally, and paid for our inadequacies in following his teachings in blood. And we accept him and thank for his sacrifice. That doesn't mean anyone can do what Jesus did but him.
The "take the wheel Jesus" Christians are correct in that denying of self. It is useful way to follow his teachings more closely, with less of your own ego.
And they can trust it will come out better then if they have walked on their own.
The key issue is that with love there is no lying. Lies, unhonesty usually corrupt whatever good there is.
Wealthy people who don't sin need to sell their possessions and give their money to the poor if they want to go to Heaven. This is the only parable that is repeated three times in the Bible. Maybe because it's important.

Luke 18, Matthew 19, and Mark 10 all tell us to sell our possessions and give our money to the poor if we want treasures in heaven. Matthew 25 tells us we are either goats or sheep. Sheep always help the most needy with food, clothes, and medicine. Goats do not; the more money you have, the greater good you need to do with it. Sheep go to heaven. Goats go to hell. Matthew 6 also tells us “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven." We are supposed to convert non-believers through our behaviors and HUMILITY!

When I was a boy I’ve been in error and later realized everyone is going to be held accountable. Everyone has struggles. We are all fallible and yet accountable. Patience, mercy, compassion and love for others is often perceived as a double edged sword because I would rather be persecuted for speaking the truth in love than let fellow brothers or sisters go on a path that will harden their hearts.
If you have doubts, ask and you will receive answers. I see results and it’s worth while. Most of the time all we can do is plant seeds. I’ve seen a few seeds blossom.
Women need to understand we look down on this behavior, not out of hate. But concern.

There is a black blues musician named Daryl Davis that has dedicated his life to rehabilitating KKK members and got hundreds to quit and change their lives. He is successful because he approached them all with kindness and compassion, not anger and judgement.
