The BB's new albums have been totally mehhh for me. They bring nothing new to this world and I feel like their music is very generic nowadays. The only spice in BB is that Noora is the singer. But the songs are boring.

The keyboard player in the band is fabulous. I like that he stays out of ordinary Malmsteen-Stratovarius neo-classical mega fast note to note solos and concentrates more on lyrical fills and leads.
jae Tanaka part of it is the subjects they choose to write about are compelling. dystopias, berserk, fantasy settings. The other part is the singer has a good balance hard harsh sound and technical skill
I saw them live in Seattle last night, never even heard of them before, went to see Sabaton and Battle Beast opened... Amazing set. I am now a fan. Bought me some TShirts and CD's. Awesome music...
I listen Radio Rock (in Finland) and they play a decent amount of BATTLE BEAST but not enough in my opinion. Noora Louhimo has perfect kind of roasted female voice for this kind of stuff.
I love Noora! Her, Floor Jansen and Sharon den Adel are my favorites. And that's coming from a girl who mostly listens to black metal. But Noora is absolutely fantastic. 🖤🖤
I'm pleasantly surprised here. When the main songwriter of a band is no longer in the band, you just never know what you'll end up with afterwards, but this is really good and they've retained the Battle Beast sound nicely :)

I just saw this band opening up for Sabaton 2 days ago! I never heard of them until now. Two words - great band!! Normally I usually don't get into female fronted metal bands. But...I like this woman very much! No doubt she sings with a lot of power and conviction!! I'm definitely going to buy their albums! Check this band out...highly recommend!
I love how the message of this song is so acutely relevant regarding the politics of the present day world, and the deeply distorted ethical standards of the current leaders of the main superpowers.
In fact, as me, everyone will feel like this song is about ours presidentents and so on. That's because in basically every country the system are the same, the corruption are the same and the problems are the same. Its the same very history everywhere.
Theres something so poppy about Battle Beast that is so intoxicating. Very weird for a metal band. it feels like 80s pop so the good stuff in my mind. these guys should be sweet live
I understand the complaint. There are tons of metal bands with a bit more meat on the bones. But disco bullshit you speak of is what i like about this band. It sort of has an Abba-esque quality to it. Which isnt necessarily a band thing, check out the metal tribute to Abba. weird but it works well. Battle Beast is great.
Here is the thing though, what if Battle Beast continue on like this and release the same album year after year like a certain band that won't be named (Lamb of God) and just giving their "new" album a different name even though it's just the exact same thing from the year before. (Which is exactly what Lamb of God did for about 3 or 4 albums one after the other)
Just got back from seeing them in Charlotte, NC with kamelot and Delain. I'm sold. They are incredible live. Noora's vocal range is amazing, the band nailed it, and just...wow i'm blown away.
I'm always affraid to check out music videos for such awesome epic songs because the music videos just always fall short of what I imagine in my head. This one is freaking AWESOME!!! Exactly what I picture in my head when listening to this song!
I totally disagree. That is like saying Heart and Bon Jovi should tour. They basically could sing each other's songs and you would not tell who was singing. Why, cause some of their songs are the same style of music? You obviously could tell the difference, as the voices and approach to music are completely different (Woman who sounds masculine, guy who sounds feminine). Either you just don't know anything about music or your deliberately picking something disrespectful to say. Unless your ignorant of the band history, it is obvious that these bands are very unlikely to tour. The BiB founder and guitarist Anton was also one of the founding members of BB and wrote all their stuff for the first 3 BB albums. However, he refused to let any of the other members contribute ideas so they collectively kicked him out of the band towards the end of 2014. He then went on to form BiB and continued doing similar kind of music to the first 3 BB albums (BB with male singer basically). Which is why you think they sound similar. However, in the meantime, Battle Beast have put out a further 2 albums for which all the members contributed ideas, all band members wrote songs, they vote democratically on what material ends up on the albums, they create and perform together as an actual band. The musical direction is now different that the first 3 albums, it’s less heavy, less powermetal, more hard rock, pop and symphonic. So with the exception of a few songs of similar style here and there, overall current BB sounds nothing like BiB. Like early Battle Beast, BiB is in reality only Anton with some hired musicians doing the stuff live that Anton doesn’t have enough arms to do. It could have been a disaster for BB kicking Anton out of the band, and you will see some trash post online from Anton or BiB fanboys all the time. The ‘beast in now in BiB’ ect, but these guys are just fanboys. Any rational music critic can tell Battle Beast today is actually a better band today than compared to themselves on the first 3 albums or even against BiB today. That’s not just me shit talking, the last two BB albums literally won the Emma Gaala award (equivalent to Finnish Grammy Awards) for best metal albums. That’s why your comparison is insulting, their current music may be less powermetal, but overall BB is much better band than BiB. The difference only gets wider in the live setting also.
By the way, I also want to be clear that I'm not arguing that BiB are bad or anything, far from it. I actually like them, I listen to both their albums and will check out future stuff too. I also search and watch footage of their live sets, if people just prefer them too that's totally fine. They are each top notch musicians, Anton is a fantastc songwriter and had I think 3 cracking songs on their first album. Really good powermetal stuff. But the facts are the facts.

the way how this song is playing in my mind,trigger some happy memorys from way back when.....5-6 yeast old toddler ( ealy 80`s) getting ready for a sleep,while my dad (Sex pistols fan in his youth) is playing old reccords on even older gramophon,Iron Maiden,Helloween,Gamma Ray,Ozzy,Sabath,Billy Idol,Zeppelin.some Doors ....happy times , awsome times.latter in life I went to my personal hell with Mettalica ,RHCP.Pantera ,Bon Jove ( I know it sooo don`t belong with rest of them but I love that band).....Didn`t have great luck with girls in life ( Cause you know R`n`R is more then music ....it is the way of life) but I did get waisted beaten and bruised before on and after every R`n`R concert that I ever went ( right now 612 counting all of them from small shit baisment in place that even Google can`t finde to those ultra big FACK MY LIFE events)I have spend fey nights in jail`s cause ....shit happens right....esspecialy when you get pulled over for speeding after Maiden concert.....I didn`t get officialy merried cause my "wife" refused Heavy metal band .....I have 2 little copys of me now ..... and we are on the mission to finde them their ZZ Top Aerosmith etc....and this band is defenetly on the list.This is the way R`n`R will keep on living....and one day .....one day there will again come those awome 80`s.... I just saw this band opening up for Sabaton 2 days ago! I never heard of them until now. Two words - great band!! Normally I usually don't get into female fronted metal bands. But...I like this woman very much! No doubt she sings with a lot of power and conviction!! I'm definitely going to buy their albums! Check this band out...highly recommend!

this isn't metal, this is fucking disco bullshit mixed with 80's hard rock.
I understand the complaint. There are tons of metal bands with a bit more meat on the bones. But disco bullshit you speak of is what i like about this band. It sort of has an Abba-esque quality to it. Which isnt necessarily a band thing, check out the metal tribute to Abba. weird but it works well. Battle Beast is great.
Here is the thing though, what if Battle Beast continue on like this and release the same album year after year like a certain band that won't be named (Lamb of God) and just giving their "new" album a different name even though it's just the exact same thing from the year before. (Which is exactly what Lamb of God did for about 3 or 4 albums one after the other)

Just got back from seeing them in Charlotte, NC with kamelot and Delain. I'm sold. They are incredible live. Noora's vocal range is amazing, the band nailed it, and just...wow i'm blown away.
My brother came back from seeing them in Albany, NY. He even was able to meet Noora and got a picture as well as a signed CD.

I totally disagree. That is like saying Heart and Bon Jovi should tour. They basically could sing each other's songs and you would not tell who was singing. Why, cause some of their songs are the same style of music? You obviously could tell the difference, as the voices and approach to music are completely different (Woman who sounds masculine, guy who sounds feminine). Either you just don't know anything about music or your deliberately picking something disrespectful to say.
Unless your ignorant of the band history, it is obvious that these bands are very unlikely to tour. The BiB founder and guitarist Anton was also one of the founding members of BB and wrote all their stuff for the first 3 BB albums. However, he refused to let any of the other members contribute ideas so they collectively kicked him out of the band towards the end of 2014. He then went on to form BiB and continued doing similar kind of music to the first 3 BB albums (BB with male singer basically). Which is why you think they sound similar.
However, in the meantime, Battle Beast have put out a further 2 albums for which all the members contributed ideas, all band members wrote songs, they vote democratically on what material ends up on the albums, they create and perform together as an actual band. The musical direction is now different that the first 3 albums, it’s less heavy, less powermetal, more hard rock, pop and symphonic. So with the exception of a few songs of similar style here and there, overall current BB sounds nothing like BiB.
Like early Battle Beast, BiB is in reality only Anton with some hired musicians doing the stuff live that Anton doesn’t have enough arms to do.
It could have been a disaster for BB kicking Anton out of the band, and you will see some trash post online from Anton or BiB fanboys all the time. The ‘beast in now in BiB’ ect, but these guys are just fanboys. Any rational music critic can tell Battle Beast today is actually a better band today than compared to themselves on the first 3 albums or even against BiB today.
That’s not just me shit talking, the last two BB albums literally won the Emma Gaala award (equivalent to Finnish Grammy Awards) for best metal albums. That’s why your comparison is insulting, their current music may be less powermetal, but overall BB is much better band than BiB. The difference only gets wider in the live setting also.
By the way, I also want to be clear that I'm not arguing that BiB are bad or anything, far from it. I actually like them, I listen to both their albums and will check out future stuff too. I also search and watch footage of their live sets, if people just prefer them too that's totally fine. They are each top notch musicians, Anton is a fantastc songwriter and had I think 3 cracking songs on their first album. Really good powermetal stuff. But the facts are the facts.
