Rat into Green Russian Big Muff Pi?

- Hello. Long time no see. So, I was poking around the web, and I saw that a few folks highly recommended running the Rat into an Electro Harmonix Green Russian Big Muff Pi. So I did it. I also did it with an EHX Flatiron fuzz (EHX's Take on a Rat) and a Donner Dark Mouse (Donner's take on a Rat). How did it sound? Watch the video to find out. Was this video sponsored? No, I wish.
tune to d, set the bmp tone to noon and the rat filter just a little before. doom.
Now put a reverb and delay between them, and a flanger/chorus after. Shoegaze
Tube Screamer into a Muff is one of the greatest lead tones ever.

I've liked a tubescreamer JHS mod into a muff before. Also a cocked wah into one. Put an octave pedal after the later too and it goes mad in a good way

Fun video thanks. I've an orange th30 and I'm after getting some pedals. Coincidentally I also have the Joyo. Its good. I'm still getting to used to using pedals. I picked up an Opamp Big Buff reissue, I was a massive pumpkins fan back in the day. I can't get over how much gain and noise a big muff has. Still really don't know how it fits into my rig but I'll get there.

I thought that the original rule was that you don’t put anything in front of a Fuzz Face. Because of impedance issues? Not every fuzz.
@lukehenderson436 not muffs as far as I know, they're generally fine further down the chain. Vintage style fuzz should run up front especially if you want to take advantage of cleaning up the fuzz with your volume knob.
Try a chorus or flanger after all that gain..... Your welcome lol

my signal chain is pitchfork - ts9 - hm2 - russian muff - red channel on triple rec
