I hate our defense and hated it with eberflus and it somehow got worse. We are always on the wrong side of history and get right games. It makes watching the game a pain instead of enjoying it. Who’s a young hot shot assistant from SF, Baltimore, Pittsburgh or maybe even Dallas
It’s sad that I really started watching and becoming a fan in 99 when I was in middle school and now after the last 7 years I have lost faith that they will figure it out. You can only be optimistic for so long before you realize that the problems are basically the same every year and they don’t seem to have a clue how to fix it.
Can we even blame Gus at this point, below Average QB's look like HOFers when they play the Colts this has been a problem since the Matt Eberflus days. Soft zone all day long ...
Quick question for the pod. Chris Ballard seems to be one of the more active GMs when it comes to practice squad rotation in season. Including cutting/signing the same player repeatedly (like PJ Walker in the past or Spencer Shrader this year). Do you know the thought process behind this? Do guys on the practice squad get paid for the full week even if they get cut? I could see using that as a means for keeping an extra guy or two around Indianapolis instead of trying to sign on elsewhere.
To answer Logan’s questions I would ask aside from Taylor and Buckner and maybe Kenny Moore what on this team makes them win now ? It’s been the same issues even when the defense hasn’t been injured the offensive problems you can blame on Qb but over the years the defense has had the same issues No pass rush too easy to pass against letting bad Qbs look great not being able to get off the field when it matters most. so I don’t think they have been win now since 2020.
I think Ballard survives this year unfortunately. I think him and AR are tied to the hip, but i just hope we figure out if richardson is the guy or not

The problem is the personnel, you can't suddenly switch to a different scheme without a 3 year overhaul
@@dabneyoffermein595it’s the same scheme though.
At least eberflus got turn overs
At least with eberflus, they were decent at some points, this defense is straight up terrible
@@JaredLaswellthat’s cuz he had a hall of famer in Darius Leonard. Same reason Gus Bradley had success with the legion of boom. The players.
The locker room will start splintering, players don't want a project at QB.

Fire Ballard.
Genius.
🙄
He can't fire himself. That's like Telling your dentist to work on his own teeth.

We need to move heaven and earth to get Robert Salauh in for D coordinator
The defense isn't buying into Gus's system. I think he lost the unit and this will be his last season and hopefully, our GM as well.

I just pray eberflus keeps winning in chicago because if he is fired, you know ballard will bring him back
Nonsense.
