I watched myself disrupting the flow with fear, tried to ground and reel it in, repeatedly struggled with it. Can’t help but feel like if the energy of the connection was truly clear and committed at any point, any fear I might have had wouldn’t have gotten away from me and I certainly would have relaxed into it all with ease and joy. This just wasn’t totally allowed. I want to be accountable for how I might have complicated things, yet taking on blame as if relationship is not a two-way street isn’t helpful. I can’t be totally responsible for how I felt; different people and dynamics bring out different aspects, and this connection brought out so much of my deepest inner shadow. Then that shadow was emphasized and taken advantage of in a subtle but ongoing sense, instead of given love. It’s not how I wanted to show up, but I couldn’t get out of that groove within the relationship as much as I tried to. Bottom line is actually that he didn’t want to be there and work things out together, to build towards something balanced. The work of building something together wasn’t mutually desired.

I’m fighting it because of his childish ways. He tells all to his adult kids and his friends and always slants the story to make me look bad and him look like a saint. Then tells me he doesn’t care how people dislike me…he wants to be with me. They don’t like me because he says bad things about me! He’s so childish at 70 years of age!
LMAO! 😂 When someone turns happiness into non happiness who wants that anymore. That was my karma though! My husband started to lie and play head games and I no longer trust him. So I became extremely not trusting of him. With Z though I never lied and he can see everything that I am saying. So why not trust me? I don’t get it. It must be residual stuff from his previous relationships. Oh well. I tried. I really did!
