Simple slippers (footsteps) with no seam knitting needles on the sole.

Simple laconic slippers can be knitted with knitting needles in one evening watching TV. Such cozy and comfortable footpaths will be a great gift for loved ones for the New Year!
Slippers are knitted from Alize Lanagold Classic yarn on knitting needles No 4. The slippers took about half a skein. The size of the tracks is 37-38. How to knit for other sizes is briefly explained in the video.
How to knit simple tracks
Work description:
1. Cast on 44 stitches and knit 10-11 cm (about 36 rows) with a scarf pattern.
2. Transfer the knitting to circular or stocking needles and knit with the front satin stitch (stocking fabric) another 23 rows (8 cm).
3. Mark with markers the places where the loops are cut - counting 11 loops from the beginning of the row in the direction of knitting, put a marker between 11 and 12 loops. In the same way, mark the loops in the opposite direction.
4. We make decreases in front of the markers through a row five times - two together with the front one with a tilt to the left (behind the back walls) and after the markers two together with the front one with a tilt to the right (behind the front walls). Thus, we cut 20 loops, 24 loops remain on the needles.
5. Continue to make decreases in each row as described above until there are 4 loops on the needles.
6. Cut the thread, pass it through the remaining loops. We tighten the toe and fasten the thread from the seamy side.
7. Sew up the backdrop in any convenient way.
