Lemmo’s hybrid picking is inspiring to me. Mark got me interested in vintage guitars but Lemmo inspires me to become a better player every video I watch!
yes same here,,, but many things have hindered Mark "kermit" Agnessi in his short life, a nagging trophy wife and hair loss go hand in hand with a strenuous job and a large mortgage. He never was really able to leave the 90s behind trying to keep all that in check much less play more guitar. Sad what people give up for a crappy marriage and ungrateful family.
I have to say Norm is not wrong about this. Every one of the Gibson Historic Acoustics looked and felt like the lacquer was sprayed and let dry with no wet sanding to get the finish smooth let alone glossy. When you are spending 5 or 6 grand on a new guitar, you expect something that is 100% finished, not 95% done., Guitars become relic'd or aged as you play them, enough with these pre-aged finishes.
LarryUK I mean he’s right. It’s a CUSTOM SHOP model not the standard production line model. These start at 6k and up. They keep telling us on how the got “every single detail” there down to the plastics, and yet they miss those details. I understand his point because I don’t want a white, or yellow label on my custom shop 63 ES 335, they originally came with the orange sticker and it’s the same with the CS version

Steve Turner yeah the more you dive into gear the more picky you get lol. Even the stickers and logo placements and angles. These are historic reissues so I give 100% reason to Norm on this one.

Sock Monkey Mark has a beautiful family with two young boys and Gibson offered 3X what he was earning at Norms. Norm and Mark were friends longer than 10 years and like a good Dad, Norm was pleased that a company he loves, wanted to hire his protege. They are all family at Normans rare guitars in Tarzana!
I wonder if Gibson will take heed of Norman’s comments, a white label isn’t gonna cost a fortune and it’s a simple thing that just might make a difference to some potential buyers.
They would be well advise to take his free critics as he was right. When you get down to it happy customers equals profitable business a win win the moto of Norm.

Erm no. Check out the Andertons channel video where he appeared for a while. He's the most hated guy in the entire community now sans none and actually tanked their entire ratings that week. Nobody likes him anymore, they'd rather he was fired or in some weird cases, killed himself. But remember kids...keep your shit 'Authentic' and you're good.

We want to see accurate reproductions of our old favorites. That's Norm's beef as well as mine. Nothing kills a sale like a wonky pick guard on an otherwise exceptional instrument.

Mark can’t make Gibson do everything right, but it seems he’s really helping them in the right direction. I love Mark. He sold me a great guitar for a good price and I’m happy for him. Its soo strange i asked about Tom morellos signature aerodyne strat last year on a few forums to see if they would bring it back and they did crazy cool! I like the option they give you to put his soul power decal on or not it comes with the guitar and you decide. Should be fairly affordable too cause it looks to be a Mexican strat and they are great strats for the money. I want one! Rock on!!
