I just wanted to mention that at the end of the run, during the GM exam result screen (yes, for people unaware, this ARCADE GAME will REMEMBER how you do. you have to get the requirements for GM 4 out of your last 7 games on the machine to even have a CHANCE at GM, which is what the exam is) it does a fake-out with a large block changing “fail” to “pass.” that means he just barely made it thorough the GM requirements. think about that.
actually the fake out is if the same grade as the target is achieved. since there is nothing above GM, all passes use the fake out, no matter how nuch better you did than the requirements (Source: #1 in my country, #59 worldwide)

i have seen thisa few timesnow, still awesome. and to make it even more so you may notice this version of tetris has a feture to hold blocks if you need them. he actually has enough concentration to use this feature
I don't even understand how one could do any sort of damage control at this speed... Just one block going into the wrong spot would screw me up to the point of not being able to fix it.
This just shows how amazing the human brain is. The only way he can do this is by keeping a full image of state of the game in his mind and just looking at the block thats coming. Even in the beginning he plays nearly in the same speedy way as in the last "invisible" level. Incredible.
@@zetexfakethat may be the case but pro tetris players do take into account all the incoming pieces in their queue. Maybe at certain speedbursts they depend solely on the pieces' sfx but most times they will look at the piece preview

That's like saying Go and Chess are the same because they're both board games with white and black pieces. The differences between the games are enormous. UT has: capped velocity while touching the ground, double-tap dodging, double jumping, secondary fire on weapons. Quake has: friction on the ground, queued jump for frictionless hops, air acceleration, weapons designed around specific types of aim.

it HAS to be a preset of blocks otherwise doing this blind folded is quite literally impossible unless you can some how identify which sound each block has and where to put it.
If you watch the end of the video, once the credits roll it doesn't show any of the placed blocks, hence the description of the guy doing it "blind." They never show the player being blindfolded
The fact that he can still get lines when he cant see any blocks already set makes anything before it seem rather pointless to test his skill. Not just lines he can still pump out tetris like a champ playing nearly blind. He is beyond godly

I think 200 or something, the colors change to some that aren't in the humanly possible part of the game.
I could learn to do that if I worked really hard on it, especially if I started it from a young age. But still, great work! I can't do it straight away.
