Most of these sets' scaling issues stem from the fact that the minifigure is not scaled to the 2x2x2 blocks they chose. Technically a 3x3x3 stud block would be more accurate but they chose to use 2x2x2s to make more affordable and easier to build sets. Im currently working on a sky block map where every island is a different set. In my opinion the end portal is the hardest because the entire thing is built off the grid, so when I built it I just extended the end portal room by 1 block.
here is a command for a invisible itemframe (it works for bedrock java and beta): /give @p minecraft:item_frame[minecraft:entity_data={id:"minecraft:glow_item_frame",Invisible:1b}]
