i havent picked up my guitar in years and i look forward to easing myself back into it with this, along with I Want to Live, thank you for posting these
If the song is recorded on a real lute you can tune G-string to F# and put a capo on 3rd fret to replicate the sound of a real lute. I don't know if it would suit this tab though, haven't tried it.
there are some fingerings in this transcription and arrangement that don't make sense. For instance in the 2nd bar I would not finger the notes that way because it creates a really awkward shift to the chord on the 12th fret (the 8-10-10). Otherwise it's pretty good, still learning it.
Just to clarify: the intro should not be capo'ed, correct? it sounds like the capo is introduced after the intro section but I'm not seeing that notated anywhere.
@haydenwidener8640 The 6th string open will ring out as an F because of the capo. But we still call it Drop D tuning. So you drop your 6th string to D, put the capo on the 3rd fret, and play the tabs exactly as it is on the sheet. It works I promise 👍🏻
Oh yeah, it would be an F, my b. but then it still wouldn't be a D? I mean I am doing exactly that and it sounds correct without the Capo during the intro, then adding the capo after. Otherwise you have it notated as D but there's no D being played... regardless everything else about this sounds lovely! Thank you very much!!! @@JaneDoePlays
No it wouldn’t be D, because of the capo. We still call it Drop D, but the capo takes it up to F. Remember to play the intro relative to the capo. So count your frets starting from the capo. You really don’t have to add the capo after the intro. As mentioned, drop 6th string to D, add capo to 3rd fret, and play the intro relative to the capo. So the staring 7/9, start counting at the capo www.fiverr.com/s/w5lXm8?CopyLink_Mobile If you’re having a really tough time, I teach guitar professionally. would you be open to make a video of you playing them? could be great for your channel and make it easier to find gow to place my fingers :) just a suggestion
I’m a full time music teacher, which takes up most of my day. And at night I take classes. I do the arrangements for fun and even that only starts after midnight most nights… So unfortunately I just don’t have the time to play and practice them the way that I want to, and then put together a video. Maybe one day… 🤞🏻
I appreciate that so much! Thanks for your support 💜 www.fiverr.com/s/j4q0o9?CopyLink_Mobile If you’re struggling with any of the arrangements, you can contact me via Fiverr 👍🏻 Let me know who you are, and I’ll give you the youtube subscriber discount 😉
Thank you for this! It's trickier than it looks, that drop D tuning makes my pinky jump all over the place in the chorus section
Thanks for doing this! I fell in love with this game and as a guitarist had to make a Bard. Your Awesome!
You are awesome! Thanks for the support!
Thank you so much!! This is exactly what I was looking for. You're amazing!
Thank you for that 💛 Glad it was helpful!

Might have to adjust just a little bit, but doable I’m sure 💛

Hey! No fingerings are indicated. I usually don’t indicate, so that everyone can figure out their own best way of doing it
Wonderful!
nice
Amazing! Will have to learn this one eventually.
Thanks! Have fun! 💛

Hey! No the capo stays throughout. You’ll notice the intro uses higher frets, verse uses lower frets
thanks for the reply! But if that's the case, the open 6th string would be a G rather than the D, so how does that work?
