- Last part of the Wolfing house vlog's! Tommy showed his approach to collar and sleeve guard and how to deal with a kneeling stalling opponent. I apologize for the missing audio, microphone used was apparently disconnected during recording but it does not make the technique less awesome. Like, comment, subscribe, and make sure to check out the Wulfing house links at the bottom!

Excellent type of a video - not just one technique but rather a discussion of various options and tactics in general.
Please keep posting open guard concepts. This was awesome.
Maybe if I get to train with him again I will, now I will just work on videos from my own academy where I teach. :)
Valuable and awesome teaching senseï, right into what I like to experience ! Greatings from France 🙂
one of the best guards nowadays!
Best collar and sleeve video, dude 🤙

At the end to take the back should he have the under hook or was it better be over ?
For sure need the underhook, especially to climb up/follow the hips.
What did he say when the Audio cut out lol
By now I dont remember lol, but he is talking about keeping elbow low to avoid underhook or even not chasing the underhook until the opponent approaches and gives the underhook himself. Hope that helps, check out his arm movement. :)
What is the quarter guard that is mentioned in the video?
Quarter guard as in half guard style where you only trap his shin/ankle with your legs, it can be on the side that he showed thats considered quarter guard, if its on the other side it's more commonly named Quarter mount. Hope that helps!

Why would you say you can't really attack once you're in reverse d h?
I believe he shares the opinion of Mendes bros that RDLR is more a transitional guard than an offensive position you can stably play.

Mic died in the end
Yeah, apologizes for that, I believe that the body language shows enough to get his point across.
