It is pretty awesome to see Angel Olsen in this video. She just released one of my favorite albums of this year, which just goes to show that BPB makes music with some very talented people. Quite remarkable.
The chord change before everyone breaks into the chorus just melts into that harmony so beautifully. I am amazed by this guitar work especially since he is in such an awkward position. Bonny Prince Billy is amazing but a good part of that amazingness is pure talent of the people he plays with.
been a huge fan of angel's for years now and i'm just getting into the extraordinary will oldham as per my duties as a drag city stan. so so so incredible that they even crossed paths. the instrumentalists are incredible. can't wait to obsessively rewatch this!
I can only assume that anyone who criticizes this performance is a far better writer/performer than everyone in this video, right? Lol. Eloquent, serene, thoughtful song
it was nice and yummy...a bit, look at me, sort of thing. but it was very cool to hear that. if that was not tampered with with sound gimmicks, i will just say-that was lovely.
I'm guessing you found out long ago, but for anyone reading the comments in the future: She's a wonderful British folk singer. Elvis Costello wrote "All This Useless Beauty" especially for her. Oldham has been a huge fan for a long time.
One day people will notice Emmett Kelly. then they will listen to the Cairo Gang records and then they will want to know more, and then they will find out that he's always been there with Will and also with Ty Segall and well... so immensely underrated.
This should have millions of views.
Angel should be famous for real. She is amazing, and BPB this is the first of your music I have ever heard and I love you
welp; she's kinda famous now
You got your wish!
I kinda hope she comes back to this message these days and goes, "Yep. Like I said."
Hilariously dated comment 😂 she’s not as big as will but pretty well known. Going to see her this month in Dallas!!!
@@miefknoedel8640 I would say Angel is objectively much more well-known than Will. I was at the Dallas show as well! Her and the band did amazing.

...& how many times have I saddened over this power?
this is pure natural live performance no edit! and no over mixing double-vocal processes ..just pure live!! love it! :D
Brilliant......thank GOD acoustic/folk is on the rise to dissuade us from the plastic-pop-commercial hell.
Stunning! Beautiful.
A jewell!!! And on the other hand... How young and adorable Angel looks in the video!
That was gorgeous.
if i were in that cab I'd have a gigantic big smile on my face! ha ha
Love it, plus I am on a mission to find me a hat like that......
Emmett Kelley on guitar and the beautiful Angel Olsen vocals - don't know the guy on hand organ. Love this version.
I love to see a bit of hand organ action every now and again
Waka waka
Oh my... for once in my life i'm lost for words
Fantastic! BIG thanks!!! Px
This is amazing! I can't stop listening to it.
Thus is the way of the world my friend. It makes me appreciate music like this even more.

Excellent!
will oldham is an idea not a person
*
A pretty good idea
I'd say that Bonnie Prince Billie is and idea not a person and Wi Oldham is the man behind it
Odd comment
BPB aka Will Oldham is genius
Perfect. No more, no less.
Just one song -- Black Cabtain 0:35 from Wolfroy Goes to Town

How big is this cab? I mean there are a cameraman, a driver and a hand organ player all in front of the car?
it was nice and yummy...a bit, look at me, sort of thing. but it was very cool to hear that. if that was not tampered with with sound gimmicks, i will just say-that was lovely.
Who drives the cab in the black cab sessions? Is it just a random London cabbie each time? I need to know.
Anyone know anything about June Tabor? Why is this song dedicated to her, and is it drawn from her life or music? Such a beautiful song.

Holy fuck!

Check out the Jack White/Wanda Jackson session.

Clown Car Sessions.
:')
I’ve hated Will Oldham ever since he dumped Scout Niblet. He’s not in anyway enjoyable anymore.
Wut?
hell nah
