Well, It is, and it's not. The geometry we have, what we actually use, like euclidian geometry, for example, and euclids themselves, doesn't occur in reality. In nature. There isn't a case to be made for perfect squares or shapes of crystals. Geometry is meant to work in 2D. Think about straight lines. They only exist in two dimensions or realities we create, make up, not actually in nature. So while shapes occur in nature, geometry is usually a different story. The shapes certainly can be found but our actual geometry is a different story. Fractals are really cool, though.
I would argue that, rather than saying, proof geometry is used in nature; Seeing geometrical shapes in nature fits an actual truth better.

this is why that pyrite is shaped like a cube : During the formation of cubed pyrite crystals, the mineral begins to precipitate out in the form of small, cuboid-shaped crystals. These cuboids then begin to grow together, forming larger and larger cubes. The process of cubic crystal growth is driven by the natural tendency of the mineral to form symmetrical shapes.

Under a microscope, there are objectively no straight lines in nature. So 90-degree angles don't really exist. They are merely illusions, like the appearance of straight lines.

I personally knew they could, I just didn't realise it was so common. Like the same way some crystals can come out looking like they've already been polished, but the surface difference is just enough that it's actually completely natural.
They can come in all sorts of geometric shapes, its crazy!

Oh cool. My dad has a box of these, Spain makes sense, he was all around that area before we were born,he came back home with them years ago. I love going through them. :)). We used to play checkers with them. Used them as building blocks. Lol.
He never said they were rare or anything lol but that makes sense. He never sold any of his crystals:) his hobbies weren’t about value but beauty!! He has boxes of crystals from his trips abroad ❤️🇨🇦

This is real. Pyrite is a crystal as a gold color. They are indeed not gold just the color. Pyrite can be many shapes and one of them are cubes. They can be a perfect form of cubes and sometimes it can be formed in other shapes with right angles. Pyrite is basically geometry in nature. There can be a cube with a tiny cube on it too!

From what I read, the best way to tell if a pyrite is real, either than the striations on its surface, is to rub it with your hand or a hard object and if you get a sulfurous smell, it's real

It's a limestone in Spain. It's a limestone karst landscape where a lot of water percolates through the rock. Basically chalk that's melting.
