One of my Christian Catholic friend asked me that Why is there so fuss on building a Ram Mandir in the same place. He said many Hindus & Muslims have lost their lives in last 70 years in riots. Govt. Should built there some hospital or some national monument to avoid religious conflict. I told him why don't your Pope demolished the main church in Vatacian city & built some hospital or playground or education university.

Chithra is not a notorious local bully to pass an ultimatum to you and I to do certain things on certain time and date. I feel those who don't want to follow her advice have all rights to ignore her. She didn't ask bus drivers to light a Diya on the street though. She asked people to light it in their home. India is still bleeding from her wounds of foreign attacks and suppression by rampaging empires. But Hindus are now searching for their lost roots and are angry to find relics of their attackers still buried in their holy places. Hinduism & Indian culture goes back thousands of years and any places of worship holy to Hindus but invaded, destroyed, or converted by other religions groups should be returned to Hindus voluntarily. In my opinion, such moves along with uniform civil code and removal of other unfair advantages given to certain section of the society will help repair the holes in our social fabric and strengthen it further. Like Muslims & Christians, Hindus have full rights to practice their religion to their hearts' content irrespective of whether people from other religions like it. It's natural for minorities to feel uncomfortable seeing a resurgent majority. But the faster they adapt to the new situation and move along nicely, the better for our nation as a whole. Because resentment and resistance are only going to push them out of the mainstream and leave them by the wayside.
