Thanks for your support! You are definitely right about the picture, It looked familiar to me but I suppose that I wasn’t paying attention. When I looked for a picture online for Kummer this picture appeared. Even after another search, I am not sure there is a picture of him available anywhere on the internet.
I am going to play the bassoon in this soon. I've been practicing and in measure 164, shouldn't the accidental B-natural be flatted again in the 3rd set of 16th notes? It isn't written that way, but when I practice it like that, it just sounds wrong, and I hear it flatted again in this recording, unless my ear is wrong. ANYONE? Thanks!
Sorry. I’d have to disagree. Perfect pitch doesn’t make a difference. It’s about the chord structure. I’ve performed this piece many times (just this movement…it’s part of a three movement work). The third set of sixteenth notes the B is still a B-natural. In the fourth set it should be a B-flat.
thank you for the score
one detail : that's a picture of Borodine, and not Kaspar Kummer

Cool, haven’t seen a score by Thomas goss yet, amazing channel. I love this work by Kummer

Hi 2 months late and with a perfect pitch confirmation, he does indeed play a Bb for both the 2nd and 3rd sets of 16ths (: 8:32

Play it back at 0.25 speed. The bassoonist plays it that way.
Why is Borodin on the photo?
