@@hansgodwin3548 not necessarily because a size down was too tight for me. The large in the r2r still fit it just seemed looser than the NZ race. I believe the r2r feels looser because of how the front is made. I may make another video of how these both feel on the track. With the NZ race my mouth was up against the front of the helmet but not so with the r2r.
I tried on both helmets and i loved them both but the r2r i physically couldn't get my glasses on no matter what i tried, the NZ race they slipped on good. So I'm a little torn, i don't know if there is anything i can do to fix it either if i were to buy one
On the r2r they should be compatible with glasses I will check when I get home. I got the r2r so that I didn't need to wear shades on long rides and as the sun changes positions during the day. Hey thanks for viewing.
@joyfulpyro2589 i appreciate it, the r2r has those plastic trim pieces on the cheek pads wouldn't let my glasses in. Worst case i will just pickup an NZ-Race when they come back in stock
@@Max-rs3mh ok so I just looked at them and wore glasses with both helmets. Both helmets have red tags on the left and right showing a picture of sunglasses saying compatible. On the NZ race it says remove foam but I'm not sure what foam to remove. On the R2R there are slots on the side for the glasses to slide between the cushioned liners. Check ride Aprilia they may have some helmets in stock. I hope this helps. If I should make a part 2 let me know, because I didn't mention that, the speaker cut-outs, chin curtain and visibility.
@joyfulpyro2589 Ok, I'll check them out, what appeals to me most about the helmets is the visibility and the super lightweight shell. I didn't know the glasses arms were supposed to go in between, it feels unnatural to not have them resting behind my ears haha
@@Max-rs3mh lol I agree. I rode my nz race with shades and I did not like it because the helmet is tight so I got the r2r for the internal shield. What would be cool for those who wear prescription glasses is if there was prescription film that could adhere to the inside of a shield. It's a wild thought I know but oh what a difference it would make.
@@Panigale1199r1 No it won't be too small but it will be a tighter fit. KYT is supposed to start selling the different size padding then you could swap the medium padding for a large. I tried on a medium NZ race at the dealer. I got the helmet on but it was tighter than I wanted. If you don't like the medium fit I'm sure they wouldn't be opposed to a return. Measure your head and check sizing for peace of mind as well.
I had no issues with airflow it was actually pretty good. On the aerodynamics it actually seemed better than my NZ race but that could have been because the NZ race you are expected to be in the tucked position. I may actually buy a second R2R. Even in Alabama heat it vented very well when moving and little to no buffeting if I spelled that correctly lol. The r2r is my go to at the moment. We'll vented, comfortable and pocket friendly. My only gripes were those in the video and are rider specific. Hope this helps.

Sir good day, where did you get your R2R? I cannot find that color even in kyt catalog. Can you share it to me the model or link?

So basically a size down for the r2r right?

Hey brother, I wear a large, do you think medium in the r2r would be too small, or do you think I should wait for a large??
