    I actually can remember how to enter BIOS, but this is a good method because it's the same on all W10 systems. Very useful!

      Nope not the same if your system is legacy boot

      @@elfo1706 if ur in legacy boot then when ur computer is starting then u have to mash buttons like f1 del f2 or whatever

    Good info. I haven't used windows for years until just recently, so I'm not familiar with this trick. This is a useful tip.

    Shift + click restart button also works.
    (start menu -> power -> shift click restart)

    You can deactivate Flip to Boot also in the Lenovo Vantage APP

    Thanks for the information. Pls, one question. I have a noisy hard drive on my all in one pc. I don't want to physically remove it bc it's an expensive and complicated pc, I just want to "disable" that hard drive so it won't even start. Can I do that from BIOS so the computer don't recognize it from the very start ever? Thanks in advance for your help.

    This method does not work with legacy bios.

    But i dont have option for uefi firmware what do I do

      1. Start-up Repair
      2. Start-up Settings
      3. Command and Prompt
      4. Uninstall Updates
      5. System Restore
      6. System Image Recovery

      We have what's called Legacy BIOS. Try repeatedly pressing the f12 key when you restart your machine. That's what worked for me.

    i want to disable modern standby on my yoga slim 7 and set backlit keyboard timeout to 15s, is this possible?

      the stupid modern standby!! I don't want it either! I'm not sure about both these things.... I set mine to hibernate!

      Same. We have what is called "Legacy BIOS." And NO combination of key presses I have tried let me start in my BIOS.

      @@yakineyh2483 You may have BIOS (legacy) instead of UEFI to make sure go to search or run: msinfo32 then in system summery, find BIOS mode: it's either legacy or UEFI, if you have UEFI then it should be in Troubleshooter but if you have Legacy, I think you need to press according to your pc model for example (Hp: Esc or F10) when you restarting!
