Watching your videos (and Emma's) all through lockdown definitely was the driving force that made me book a cruise on a whim. And here we are, leaving in 3 weeks!
The same happened with me and I'm leaving in two weeks. It's been 22 years since my last one.
I like the curtains that separate the bedroom and the living room. Very nice if sharing a cabin.
We have the same cabin as you on deck 8, also an upgrade. We are on with you. we stay in this same cabin for our B2B. I love the tub. I get cold easy and was very cold all week except for today, so the tub came in handy. Good trip home to Jenny. Hope to see Don again on this next sailing. Keep doing what you do!!

Thank you for showing your room! This same room we will have on Caribbean Princess in December 19. We are on the dolphin 9th floor aft section. We have 91 days. 9 hours and 49 min. Can’t wait!!! We bought shirts that say “ Princess we finely made pinch me to make sure this is Real” I will post pictures of our room we got whole bunch Christmas

We got a Club Class Mini Suite for the 26th!
It adds special dining options at the CC dining room, a wine setup at embarkation, evening canapés, and a mid-ship mini suite with additional balcony space in most cases. We got the angled balcony in the Aloha deck 😎

Absolutely two of the best things that we love on the princess cruise is those big closets because I really pack a lot for a cruise …lol…and the other thing is that excellent International café that’s located on the main plaza deck ..they have the best soups every day ..a different one and the best sandwiches and the best little French pastries !!yummmm…actually one day we ate there the whole day we didn’t even go to any dining rooms !those are my two favorite things on any princess cruise ..glad you enjoyed it also Tony.
We loved the BLT sandwich and the almond croissants as well as the soups from the International cafe. I think the Int. cafe is UNDER rated!

We were on the Aloha Deck of the Emerald Princess. I kind of like having the elevator say hello and goodbye to you every time you got on and off it on that deck.
Must be nice to watch two TVs at the same time. The mini suite looks sweet!!!!
LOL. When my husband and I were on a Princess British Isles cruise we had a mini suite and at night, if I wanted to sleep, he'd pull the curtains and watch TV in the sitting area. Very convenient!
Do they have the front of ship camera and map channel? I'd have that on while watching another TV LOL

Thanks for your room tour, your room looks great and comfortable. We're going to have to take a cruise to Alaska. We have been to Alaska by land except for one day out of Seward. Trip was in June and hot except around the glacier's.

Thanks for the tour. We were scheduled for a Westbound Transatlantic in a mini suite on (I think) the Emerald Princess but it sadly was cancelled. So, it was good to see it here and we'll look to try again.
The odd shape power points are for Australia NZ when Majestic was based down under pre covid
The power points behind the tray are for Australian and New Zealand and the one next to it is for a plug in electric jug or coffee machine which is also provided in Australia and NZ.
Oops I had done a comment skim beforehand but I posted a comment saying the exact same thing!
Hey!!!!! Whose power points are you calling odd shaped??? The Aussie plug is how they should be! It’s the American ones that are weird! 😋

Great tour. Another nice thing is you can store your luggage under the bed. We had the Mini Suit a week ago.

If you unscrew the shower head bracket, it will move and then tighten it back where you want it. 😉
You are right. Most of these types of shower heads can be loosened (knob on right of horizontal part), and the horizontal part swiveled away from the wall (moved left or right), and tightened. Then just adjust the shower head to spray further out.
I think he said before that the shower was to short... And looking at where he had that shower head, he already had it all the way to the top.
@@chuckspencer5296 I'm talking about moving the shower head further from the shower wall (loosen and move horizontal piece to the right, for this shower). But you are right, can't get shower head any higher if have already moved horizontal piece all the way to the top (unless this shower unit allows you to turn hand-held part sideways; then can move it higher on rod). He may still have to duck a little, but at least he won't have to hug the wall. LOL.
I was going to say the same thing!
He said in an earlier video was it's not the height, but that he couldn't get the spray head out far enough to use it without leaning towards the wall.
Tony - as mentioned here: did you try loosening the big nut and rotating the sprayer mount outward into the tub area?

One of my favorite places to eat is the international cafe. Morning doughnuts always high on must have the list. Those rooms are always worth the extra money especially if Princess offers the upgrades. Thanks T

Really, really nice cabin.
Literally every cruise I've ever taken (5) and the next one coming up in December are in Princess Mini-Suites. Had plans to try something new but covid threw a wrench in those plans and due to logistical issues we find ourselves booked in another for our first cruise back! We can break out to something new soon enough, until then no complaints about the princess mini.

I love mini suites on Princess!! Have been many times - because when I cruise with friends - it’s nice to have that extra area & have had to close the curtain a few times (my friend would come back from the casino in the early hours of the morning & she was sleeping on the sofa - and also liked to fall asleep with the tv on - the curtain didn’t block the sound from the tv - but she had her own area to get undressed & had her privacy - and she could turn on a light - and I was ok with that! I do love the way Princess has the open closet space (and so much space for hanging clothes) - nice little alcove by the bathroom & closet & safe & shelves!
BTW - I have purchased a suction cup holder for a hand held shower head - I use it at home for my walk-in bathtub because the shower head is so far away (I do use the bathtub in the mini-suite, love a good soak) - and I can take the suction cup holder with me & place it anywhere so the shower head would be on the right place for me & within reach (I think the suction cup would even work on the ceiling for you tall folks - I’m so short I need the extra shower head holder low down for me to be able to get the shampoo out of my hair)!

We were in A304 on the Majestic in August. Nice big accessible room . Also had the wrist band holding my medallion. An awesome cruise. Doing a b2b next cruise in November on the new Mardi Gras
Good to see an Australian outlet. We're going on the Majestic in March '23 around Australia for a month. Have a mini suite on emerald deck. Really looking forward to it, we have loyalty (elite) with them so know and love Princess anyway, but first time on Majestic.
we always sail on carnival may have to try princess looks like a good ship. Sounds like you guys had a great cruise. Alaska is always great.

I always get the junior suit on the Freedom of the seas and the Oasis of the seas and it comes with a lot of room and a tub in the bathroom.
Tony, the shower head is adjustable! You can move it up and down on the rod. Or ask your room steward to do it for you. ...1st world problems.
Up and down not the problem.
After loosening the knob on the right of the horizontal piece, try swiveling it to the right or left on the rod to adjust distance from wall (not up or down).
Not sure if this particular hand held shower unit will also bend up or down (end of horizontal piece where shower head is sitting) or turn sideways.

I will be in a mini suite on the Sky Princess on the Aloha deck. I have the club class mini suite. There will be three of us so I was very interested in the sofa bed…i was hoping all hope that you would pull it out but did not expect you to😂 Glad your cabin was to your liking

Love Princess, especially Emerald. We've been on it 3 times. Would have been 4 but my hubby got sick in 2011 and not able to travel now.
We also had a mini suite. It was fabulous.
That’s a great looking cabin you guys had. You know maybe that because your touring the ship and that your famous if that cabin next to you was empty maybe they could of opened the connecting doors and let you have extra room 😀 but all in all it looks like you really had a great time.
It's been a while since I have been on a Princess. When I lived in Cali I would take a lot of the coastals to and from Vancouver. Good pizza on Princess and a decent steak house.
Tony, Thanks for the Cabin review. I too like the Princess's division of the closets it really does add space to the whole room. But your tour just isn't the same without Jenny there. 😢

We did the Club Class Mini-suite and there aren’t as many perks to utilize due to COVID. But we did get a premium location.
Tony, please don’t ever stop saying “On Cruising” the way you say it and your threat that something is going to go wrong with something in your life or your will run aground on your next cruise or something funny if you don’t hit the like button at the end of your videos. Take a pic of that unknown wall switch and show it to the customer service desk. They should know. Also, your photo comes up on that door screen on the outside.
