Rob, it’s true about feeding them from ur hand. If u do so all it does is when ur chickens actually “grow up” I guess u could say, they actually won’t be scared of u. Some chickens if they’ve never been messed with r usually skittish of ppl. But if u hand feed them and then once they’re bigger they will still come to u and eat from ur hand. I have many different kinds of chickens including silky chickens , and I do like to hand feed them while they’re young and even once they grow. Because if I need to handle them for any reason they’re not hard to catch, I usually just pick them right up. But if ur not wanting to handle them or anything then u don’t need to hand feed them. My lil guy loves his chickens, we have a farm full of them and they all have names,😂. And he will go outside and sit down and they all come running to him and he gives them meal worms and they will even get in his lap, LOL. During the night we put ours inside their run/coop area. But early morning we open their gate and they run all around the farm. Hope this helps, have a great day y’all. God bless u all 🙏🫶🏻 Oh I forgot, and once it gets evening time right before dark, they all come back and go inside their fenced area on their own because Thts where they r fed and get their treats. So yeah, they just come back on their own. And we live in the country , in Ky. And we’ve never lost even 1 of them to any predators or anything even tho we do have coyotes and chicken hawks, etc. However, we do have a couple of Australian Shepards tht also run around the property.
That machine was like a shake weight for your legs. I'd last about 20 seconds before I had to run to the bathroom. 🤣 That's a great set up for the chicks. Their own little scratch pad.
The little coop should be a good place for the chickens once they are big enough. 💖🐥💖 Kim is just wonderful in all that she can do. She is very talented! 💖💖💖

Your chickrn tun looks great and it’s great you can expand it so easily ! You should put their food snd water under the laying box area in the shade so their water will be cool gif them.! Hey, Tina, chicken run is looking great. I watch Bri's channel and she had some sort of metal edging that she hammered down around to perimeter of her pen to stop critters from digging under the pen and helping themselves to her chickens.
That’s funny the chicks 🐥 went from Paw Paws to your house then to Kims! That shaking exercise machine is hilarious! I’ve seen them on display with salesmen and you can even take them for a whirl at flea markets in FL. I’ve heard they’re hard on the knees. Those are very nice and sturdy/tall panels! The chicken 🐓 condo area looks great! Room to grow and expand it too in the future. 😉 Nice that it’s a size that can be moved, just keep moving it and they’ll make the lawn non existent lol. They’re getting bigger and so cute. New babies!! ❤

My daughter had to bury some smaller wire too in order to keep the weasels out of her run. They would go through the wire and the pull the chickens heads off through the wire.

Vibration plates are used for circulation. Can be used with the person sitting down. People have gotten great relief from using these for circulation in the legs, like with PAD. I suggest Gene and Gigi use it as well. I have watched people with severe leg issues get 90% better using this when they had no hope from doctors and hospitals - they couldn't help. This did. 😊

I think they got more chicks from the hatch than they originally wanted so Kim took some off their hands. And she sells her eggs so it was a win/win.

Yes, it was a dog kennel at tractor supply also but it works perfect for our chicken yard and it was on sale!
