I purchased a "Pelican iM2975" case *with-Foam, to hold two RXONE's. The Pelican cases are perfect because they are air tight. No dust or water vapor gets inside. Pelican case listed on Amazon for $341.
I used 8 of these in a show earlier this year and they are simply lovely lights to use for all the reasons outlined in your video. The tight beams combined with the options from prism and frost filter make them so versatile. And they are so bright for their size - even when you're using blue filter they have some punch.
Nice video. I've been thinking about getting 4 of these units. Only thing to say is that the included lamp is actually an Osram Sirius Lamp, not a Phillips Platinum Lamp.
It's a mechanical dimmer isn't it? Does it dim smoothly? Also, specs say 270 degree tilt but it doesn't look like it tilts that far, which is important when you set on top pf a totem. Will it tilt 45 degrees down when setting upright?
Great Video! I would be interested to see this against a Chinese fixture moving head as they are supposed to be great for money! But really what is the difference as some of specs are the same?
I've got 8 of the Chinese 7R beam fixtures. They are excellent. They probably don't move as fast as these, but they are much cheaper and came with flight cases. I also got free spare parts. I have made my money back on them at this point and had them 6 months, so if they all fall apart now it's kind of inconsequential. So far no problems :D
This light is really pretty cool. Especially the 16-facet prism is amazing. I wish more lights would have a 16-facet prism. And good video by the way. :D
I've been working on this for a while! Trying to balance making the video exciting to watch while also giving a good representation of the fixture in action. I think in future I will upload a second video (maybe to Facebook) with a more static angle and longer shots!
Mobile Disco Wirral brand new from the factory straight out of the box turn around was instant because my distributor is awesome and swapped them with ones he had in stock, but adj typically have a turnaround of about 6-8 weeks give or take a week
Which is cheaply made and has poor qc at the factory. There’s a reason these are expensive compared to Chinese lights. They’re gonna last longer and give you much better results. The American lights are so much better than Chinese lights, even when they may look similar.

You should do a video comparing cheap, off brand moving heads vs. ADJ moving heads.
I would watch that for sure! Always wonder that the quality of those lights would be.
I really like that moving beam, I'm planning on buying maybe 6 or 8 of them.
our church has 2 of these and 5 mac 250s. they added these a few years ago and i always wondered what they were. now i know lol
Man you make the BEST videos! So helpful, have them send you the new Focus Spot 3z and Vizi BSW next ;) Keep it up!

Great video, although I'm not sure why the lack of 5 pin DMX is a negative? Simply means you don't have to go and buy 3 to 5 pin adapters.
Most of the professional lighting industry uses 5 pin dmx. I use 3 pin myself cause it’s far more common.
What A haze how did you done this
rx1 0r the focus 3 z which one you think is overall better?
Focus spot is better because it has loads more features and is LED based
Is it me, or do they have no focus controll?
does it have UV ?
compare adj lights to brands like martin and etc
Martin would take the piss out of ADJ for pro level lights
sir I want to buy this sharpy so please can you tell me what is the price I am really to bye this sir
What haze machine did you use or recommend?
How do u put it on sound mode
can frost and gobo be used at same time?
frost is not light enough for that and is not variable, also prism will need high ceilings to be great great little thing overall

Posted a couple of videos on my channel if anyone's interested.

How can i cross my moving heads like u do in your video
Dvj nano in the menu, set pan and tilt to reverse pan and tilt
Please when you are showing what the light can do, please keep it on one angle. It may not look that great but you can't get a good perception

I have 16 of them and 4 of them broke after 2 months thank God for warranties
How was ADJ Customer service? Did they take care of you right off the bat, or did they give you the run around?
Brandon Frazier 2 year with adj, how fast did they fix or new? What happened to them?

hey. how you doing big question what kind of controller

I just swapped 8 of my Mac 250s for 8 of these
these heads dont have a focus channel.
They don’t need to as they are a beam light
@@nickblyth166 True for just the beam. but these moving heads have gobos too. it needs to have a focus channel
Osram Sirius 100 watt lamp.
looks at the price and falls off of the chair*
This is my speed.
*Osram Sirius 100w Lamp
Random Guy not bad £80
Seems overpriced for its features. I just bought a moving spot with dual gobos, electronic focus, 5 facet prism and a colour wheel for $300 AUD
