I'll still pull this out from time to time, especially around Halloween, to play with new gamers. Easy to get into a game of it. Even though I prefer more strategic games, I'll always keep it around for a bit of fun now and then.
Our group plays it a few rounds every other week or so, and have for years now. I don’t now what, but there’s just something so fun about it despite the simplicity and random nature. Didnt know about the expansions though! And oh my god, I know EXACTLY how your boy feels. I always get reds, and die almost right away.
I think my little cousins stole this from me when they were tiny. I haven't really worried about getting it back all these years but it makes for a good game for others to play while you're setting up a better game. If my copy of Strike disappears , and Steve Jackson releases a "big box" edition with some brain tokens in, maybe I'd consider getting it back. Til then, I'm not missing it too much.
A big box edition was released, it is called the Horde Edition. I have a video of it on my channel. It includes both expansions, a scoresheet, and some brain/shotgun blast tokens to track rolls from the school bus. Not 3D brains like he has here, but it is something.
If you ever change your Intro (running up stairs to light switch) make it your ending bollocks :_) The real reason I subbed. Trust your take on BGB (in general) too of course
I could have written your script myself. This is our most-played end of evening filler. £20 may seem a lot for just dice but (a) I didn't pay for it, Stuart did and (b) his other Steve Jackson Games purchase was a Kickfarter Ogre gigantobox that sits unplayed. Which is the value for money?
Agreed. My kids love this dumb game. And to be honest I like it too. But it is dumb. I think I'll play it tonight. Also you didn't mention the deluxe version (dry erase boards, dry erase markers, a nice cloth bag and translucent dice)

I'm usually on the same page as you in some way or another, but this time i'm totally 100% with you on this, no idea why I love it so much.
I managed all brains once. Used up my luck for the rest of my life.
😂
BIG Purple Helmet !!!

It's a guilty pleasure for me as well. Similar recommendations, which I enjoy as well: Piraten Kapern and Martian Dice.

Love Zombie Dice. Great review as always!
We play this on the beach, a lot of fun. Just reach out blindly for the next dice to draw since the cup is too noisy.

Nice quick game mate
A couple of round of this then a blast on LNOE.

Thankfully you didn’t say the M word
Thanks for the great review, not for me, can appreciate why it has appeal to others.

I thought you were going to say "NO"
It’s crap but so crap it’s good…sort of
Zombie dice is a great game
Good for a filler at end of gaming night after a few beers
Good review!
Where did you find the brain mini's?
Can’t remember exactly, but I’ve seen something called Bag O Brains for a game called Zombies!!! that should work just fine 👍🏻
