As an LDS man who was physically abused by his wife, this message meant a lot to me. Still trying to grasp how this went so sideways. All I know is I love the lord my god and I will never live my life in such a way that I won’t be worthy to hear the Holy Spirit or enter into the temple.
Wish I could shake Elder Holland’s hand. What an amazing man. He always heals my broken heart.

He is a great man. It’s also a growing problem where our wives are the aggressor, and physical abuse is not without psychological abuse. Men are
3 1/2 times more likely to commit suicide, and that number is increasing. These are overwhelmingly middle age men. Our society has not just empowered, they have over-empowered. We will continue to lose our men, and ignore the problem in our culture.
I am grateful for a prophet, and the brethren, who seek to redeem all. Lead us in ways that will heal the husband and wife, and ultimately the family.
I have lived as you have, and know the pain. It’s not always possible for the abuser to get help. And as men, we refuse to be the abused, though it’s the reality of the situation. We have faith in Christ and his return, to heal all things. For now, we listen to our prophet, and take steps to be spiritually ready, that forgiveness can be easily extended, and the sealing power unite us moving forward.
My mother abused my dad in the 70's when no one addressed it. They divorced. She got automatic custody. I didn't see my dad for years. She's now in her 70's and has even used weapons against my children and me. Women can be every bit as cruel and ruthless. I can say that as I am a female and was abused by a woman my entire childhood. You did nothing wrong. You were maybe too trusting but we can all be too trusting as saints. Keep the faith and your eternal companion awaits you.
Research malignant narcissists and you will understand your ex, well as much as pure evil can be comprehended.

I just love him! The greatest gift Heavenly Father has given me is my testimony. My testimony provides peace, safety, and the ability to see things as they really are. We must Study out in our minds everything that is happening in this world so that the Holy Ghost will be able to guide us !

I know your question was rhetorical. I’ll answer anyway. President Nelson spoke of those whom we should not associate, who seek to inflict venom instead of heal.
Those who speak against the church and it’s unwavering morals in a spiritually decaying society. We may not listen, but we continue to love them, and wait for a time they won’t be compelled to hit the dislike button.
Some one who will have a great comeback story given love and nurturing

After a couple decades of being inspired, comforted, and encouraged by these dedicated disciples of Christ , the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ, I feel great gratitude for these 15 special witnesses of Christ. I appreciate them and their diligence in the Lord's work and grateful for their prayers. May the Lord bless them and may we ever heed the words of the prophets, as if from the Lord Himself.

The talks at this conference were most welcomed. Many members are suffering right now in a variety of ways. This April's conference gave members hope for the future, and tools for navigating through trials they face.
Nothing cries “the sword of the spirit” more to me than this talk.

I'm a night that I can't sleep full of health troubles and times to think over everything, is is amazing how the Lord loves us deeply, and knows us personally, I struggle with so much and did not watch the Sat session until I went to bed had endless time, it's amazing its from President Holland, I always get such deep lessons from his talks, but how did the lord know this would help me so much and it was the VERY FIRST VIDEO I saw on here, not a coincidence folks I testify it's the lord at work. I matter how it happens listen to that still small voice and be humbled and learn from he lord's mouthpiece
One of the best speakers among general authorities. Elder Holland always has a very timely message when General Conference falls on Easter weekend.

Rev. Holland has opened my eyes and ears to so much more that Jesus Christ has promised us...promised to me. For the past 3 years I have been in a depression that has bordered suicide but my husband has introduced these teachings and the more I hear the word of God the more hopeful I have become. Thank you Reverend for being the vessel to pour the word out to me. Thank you Jesus for your eternal loving sacrifice. Thank you to my husband for his faith and support.

The trinity teaching is not biblical nor was ever a teaching of the LDS church. Sadly this Catholic teaching is making its way into the solemn and beautiful teachings of your church. I'm not a member. But love the LDS many videos.
I think it's a burden to think about how much the Savior suffered for all of us. It's too much to comprehend. He took his life soo we all could receive a greater inheritance into the kingdom of Heaven to worship the Heavenly Father in his name soo we could be able to live with our Heavenly Father. Christ was our redeemer and not someone who died upon a cross but lives in all of us ALL OUR LIFE. HE IS OUR SHELTER AND PURITY. I feel his loven and know it's him whenever I'm in church. My Savior and Heavenly Father are truly the best thing in my life and in my existence.
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Listening to conference talks are great, Jeffrey F Holland has in this talk carried the spirit after listening I felt much more relaxed. There isn't anything calming than having the spirit with you. Thank you for teaching us about the plan of salvation.

I love our apostles. Let’s always adhere to these principles, and always follow the words of the prophet, currently President Nelson. In him, his authority and Devine role, we know we will never be led astray. Christ is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
I meet Elder Holland in Edinburgh, Scotland , he truly is a Apostle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints . Elder Holland looked straight into my soul With his piercing blue eyes I felt like hiding under a rock because I sensed and felt his purity because I was a million miles away from his worthiness . His talks will always confirm how he is truly a man of God because the Holy Spirit will always manifest the truth of his words into the very depths of my soul. His talks are so powerful and very simple to understand so there is no excuse why anyone cannot comprehend his beautiful talks.

Very true Elder Holland very true. Thank you for your service in the church of Jesus Christ. Your help is always needed to help guide us in these latter days even our prophet president Nelson. I am grateful that you all lead the way right on Pass the great and spacious building. Straight to the rod of iron leading us to Victory. Thank you all so much for your time and effort and God bless your families and friends. I know we are your friends and students to a higher education. It is really sad to know we've had so many defectors in the church. It's too bad the light of Truth has gone out in their life. Hopefully one day the light of Truth will brighten their life again. I know our savior loves even the defectors. I hope they always remember Jesus Christ laid the Foundation for all of us to enjoy.

I agree, "when the dance is over the piper must always be paid". I'll see all required lds leaders in the courts of heaven where I will take pleasure in reminding them of this.
This makes me think of when Jesus was on the cross and said "forgive them for they know not what they do". As far as the world went they knew what they were doing, but they had no idea.
