Just discovered your channel. Most interesting! I particularly like your diction. You go to great effort to pronounce clearly - perfect for the international audience you clearly target. Best of luck with your channel!
Such a pleasure listening to you. I told Russell to try and write scripts - in a sweetest way - he didn't take it. Naturally. Everyone has their own style. I wish you more subscribers. You deserve it.
I first used the metro system in 1994. In 2024 its huge. In the old days, you had to buy жетоны tokens and every december, people used to buy them in bulk in advance of the annual price increase. The token system STILL exists as an option in St Petersburg even today. Troika did not exist in 1994 🙂
During the Great Patriotic War, 7 stations were build in Moscow. The participation of USSR in the Second World War hadn’t stopped the investment in the Moscow infrastructure! Each of these stations is like an open book with a story about the events of those days.
Jonny: a very interesting piece. Sets of organisational information about the grand Moscow Metro new stations. Yet, I'm lacking something important and of high value. As you speak of the names of stations, often taken from the street names of developments above and around, it would be wonderful and integral to see the district of Moscow, its landmarks, skyline and details and connectivity, its integrity with each station. Then, we'd have a deeper understanding od the city od which the Metro is a vital part. Consider.
I'm not a Muscovite, and neither is Johnny. I think the problem is set incorrectly. You can't plan a route to avoid re-passing through crossroads. The smallest circle 45 minutes. The large circles an hour and a half. The large ground circle is another hour and a half. The diametrical lines are an hour and a half each. I think a trip to all the stations will take a day or more. Let's look at it from another angle. There are 1,440 minutes in a day, and there are 268 stations in Moscow. If you spend five minutes on each station, you'll get exactly a day.

I also love the Moscow metro, especially the old circle line stations. Even the old trains had a certain character.
те которые с круглыми светильниками, деревянными рамами и с безумно мягкими диванами?))
@@РоманКомолов-е3б я не помню поезди с мягкими диванами, может быть потому что я типично стоил, а не сел.
Stunning!
Beautiful spanking new stations! Spotlessly clean with no graffiti.
Keep up the great work, Jonny! New metro stations looks awesome! 🥳🥳

I've been to Russia; your T-shirt is cool. Me digs. (I know it's not a real shirt but it's so funny). I have dozens of pics of that letter.

What a bu ll s hit! Station New Delhi planning for 2037
How long could you continuously ride without having to go through the same station twice?
