The craziest thing I experience as a generator (4/6 profile) is the "gut feeling" generators experience when having to make a decision. It's almost like I'm intuitively in tune and know if something will be good or bad.

My dad I said I was always a bit different from my siblings since I only did things when I wanted to do them and that I was always good at listening more to my intuition. On some level, I've always known that I move with the creative flow, my artistic abilities making that even more obvious, but it took me till 27 to fully embrace this way of living and then I stumble upon this and find out I'm a Manifestor Generator, the universe is funny.
Yes, the MG is a mighty Type - such a powerful energy. But your creative flow and your specific nature really needs to be explained to you as the information is available to truly define one's Design specifically in a way that you can KNOW what your blueprint is in DETAIL. So spot on it's ridiculous. I want to change the slave mentality and get rid of the frustration. I will now be working towards responding and strategizing.
Every now and then I have to listen to this video, it gives me chills, the way he talks and what he says..
Makes so much sense- as 3/5 manifestor/generator once I realized I can do and not ask permission- I basically achieve things others were telling me it’s not gonna happen.

some of the information he is giving is spot on. HOWEVER, everyone is capable of being a manifestor and creating their own life/reality. it’s simply a matter of practice, learning, and mastering.
the point of spirituality is to eliminate the ego.
the ego being your personality, traits, your character, etc… anything that you identify with: being a teacher, your favorite color being blue, etc.
we are ALL source consciousness, experiencing the world through different perspectives and experiences.
this is the opposite of spirituality in the sense that it is ego driven - in the fact that it says some people are meant to be slaves or generators and only “certain” people can manifest.
we are not as individual as we think we are.
in american culture, we are not taught about spirituality or any of this. it is eastern tradition (buddhism, hinduism) and culture that teaches these things most.
instead of telling people they are slaves and need to find a way to slave happily, we need to TEACH PEOPLE SPIRITUAL PRACTICE AND INFORMATION.
EVERYONE is capable of ascending, awakening, manifesting.
everyone manifests every day, even if they don’t realize it.
mediation, focus, and channeling your energy into specific outcomes is the practice we can ALL master.
people get frustrated because no one is meant to be doing this shit. capitalism will collapse and we will have to regroup.
people have been ignoring things and saying, “well that’s just the way life is” for years. now it’s becoming unsustainable.
we can come together and teach each other - we can all collectively manifest the ascension of the human consciousness together.
we need to stop separating ourselves. we are all one.

Ra talks about this a lot, things are changing we are coming into a new age. What Human Design asks of us is are you living as your true self?
I think you're missing the point, or maybe you don't know much about human design? I say this with love. Yes, absolutely everyone can "manifest" their own reality. Here he's simply talking about the strategy that generators have to follow to do it, which is different from the strategy of the other types (manifestors, projectors, reflectors). When he talks about manifestors, he doesn't talk about manifestation/manifestors as in LOA manifestation, if that's what you're referring to. Also, I think that by recognizing your HD type, and following your strategy by honoring your response type, you will unavoidably completely let go of your ego and surrender to the power of "oneness". I believe "the point of spirituality" is not so much 'eliminate' the ego, but surrender and let go of it, becoming fully a vessel of love. I also believe that discovering your HD type/profile/strategy/response... can really really help you do to just that. Also it seems that your understanding of his "slave" argument is quite wrong. It's really too much to explain in a comment, I advise you (if you're interested) to learn more about HD and you will see that things are way different from what appears to be your current understanding of this video.

4/6 generator .... the shift between my teens & 20s to my 30s has been wild. omg DEFINITELY lived by trial and error... lots and lots and lots of error. 29-31 I fell into the deepest depression I have ever known. A total and complete identity crisis. As a mixed indigenous woman I found the civil rights/social justice movements of 2019-2021, in addition to the any forms of abuse online when trying to use my platforms to raise awareness, triggered every cell of my being and threw me into my rock bottom. I really had to learn what to give my energy to for my own survival. This past year was a year of healing and awareness. While understanding myself is still very much in progress, for the first time in my life feel grounded... and safe. I only stumbled onto human design last night, so I am very new lol but of course I did a classic deep dive and the accuracy is astonishing. Really looking forward to learning more. @@joaquinmunoz9905 I am extremely new to human design so im not too sure how to give you guidance on understanding the chart or language used... but what has helped me so far is a lot of self reflection and developing self awareness ... much of which I went through before finding human design. So a lot of what I see resonates because of the inner work I have already done. But there is still so much that I don't understand. I guess the best advice I can give you is to dedicate time and energy to self reflection. I'm not sure how old you are or what stage of your life you might be in but personally, I didn't understand what self reflection or self awareness really was or how to practice it until I was around 29/30. It's a process and can be very difficult and triggering at times especially depending on the experiences or trauma you may have experienced, so be gentle with yourself. I hope that helps and Im happy to try to answer any other questions you might have. :)

Interesting. I’m a Manifestor and my children are Generators. I can now see how I tried to expect they were Manifestors and how frustrating that could have been to them. Burning them out. Being a Manifestor has been seamless for me, but I always assumed that my children were being defiant, not acting as Manifestors. What I’d give to go back in time to parent them differently
You can always pick up where you left off, having a wider perspective this time around and allowing them to embrace their personal truths.

I'm a Generator, my kids' mom is a Manifest Generator. My most strong willed and outspoken child is a Generator..ironically she looks the most like me. My other two are Manifestors. Seeing it this way I am truly amazed I didn't catch on to this sooner.

The propaganda and social conditioning aspect is absolutely correct. Too many believe they can do it on their own. In the US this haunts the entire population and will probably be the ruin of it all

What exactly does it mean to “respond”?
Your Sacral energy will rise up towards something or someone - if positive it may bring with it a smile or a movement towards whatever the response is. If negative, the energy will shrink back. Sounds are often (though not always - depending on the person's Design) heard in either a positive or negative response.

I'm new to this.It's so confusing and eye opening...
I’m a 5/1 pure generator and I hate everything.
I am at peace when I am more passive (cannot control life so I have no idea as to what I am passionate about and etc.) and feel alive when I am around other people but due to the 5/1 profile, the projections many people have of me makes me isolate myself.

I never realised that generators had a tough life, I used to envy them, because of their motors and their energy. Now I realise that those I competed with, must have been Manifesting Generators. I am a 5/1 Projector, was raised by a manifestor mom and a MG dad. Life was really a struggle and I always thougt there is something wrong with me, and that feeling and impossible competition with others continued through life. I was completely exhausted by the age of 40. Learning about Human Design saved me.
Same here. Quite struggle and people around me just push to initiate. To start sth. I don’t feel like to but the compass is not that clear for me. Now I’m isolated. As projected by others sometimes suffers.
Does he in the full movie clarify the diffenrence between a Generator with emotional authority and one with the sacral authority? with the sacral colored in or not? and does anyone know where I can find Ra Uru Hu s definition or distinction between the Manifesting Generators and Generators

See it as the trigger it is. The parts that don’t trigger you don’t matter, but if some of the words he is using and the points he is making, do trigger you, take them as huge fuel to grow. Like fertilizer.

I have a doubt about responding: for example,I wanna change job or learn a new language,or going to live to another house... Ok responding,but l think l have to start moving in that directions,maybe looking for new houses.Or have I just to feel my body reactions and then wait?
You can talk to a friend and ask them of they can ask you questions related to what you want to do and see how you respond.
If your emotions are undefined, you will know instantly (assuming you're aware of the sensation in the body) and if you're emotional, you will need time to get clear.
Questions have to be simple yes and no questions.
"Do you like your current job?"
For instance.
Or "Would you enjoy "
And get them to ask you these until you feel what's right for you.
In Human Design circles this process is referred to as a "Sacral session".
I'm not a generator but it sounds like a very simple and trustworthy method.
And once you're made aware of this response mechanism, you won't necessarily need questions anymore (training wheels).
This actually makes a lot of sense to why I may feel the way I do as a 4/1 generator.

My husband (a generator) and I (a projector) are new to HD, we listened to this together. As we begin to learn and un-ravel we are getting confused between the difference with waiting to be invited and the generator response thing. Can anyone explain or point us to a video that explain this difference?

Is it just a coincidence that, in addition to Ra, 2 other people (A Manifestor and an Emotional Projector) all have Gate 51, many activations on the Will Center, and Gate 2?
It’s the most receptive/attractive Gate - does it need to be protected by a strong ego, and perhaps, some Shock?
I have 51 but not 2. I am a pure generator.
I'm a Triple split generator and is not very easy. I feel I'm a difficult one... It's complicated as I'd like to have same mood everyday but it's all changing and I find it tricky... I'm wishing to learn more about this design and work it out properly.
Yes, it is tricky. But all you have to do is pass through some auras on the way to the shops and there will be an internal communication within you. You don't have to speak to anyone as you pass through the auras. Just remember to go out when you're feeling confused and chill in a public place.

I guess that's because I'm having higher expectations from myself, especially that I'm having my boyfriend (10 years together) who's a reflector 5/1 :) is never enough... @@aaanto13 As you go deeper into knowing yourself. This will help you to relax into whatever is going on. If you are Emotional, then understand what that flow is all about. Expectations are the precursors to disappointments. I'm a 1/3. The only thing I ask of myself is that I do my best. That is enough. That is all there is. In accessing more and more of your potential , you will come to see that your decision-making creates the life.
If you haven't had a deep Human Design reading yet, then I recommend it as a way to set the frame for stabilising in a new awareness.

Really confusing this HD, how many types are there, I read there are only four, but what about Manifest or Generator, he said sacral is coloured red, definately a Generator

Now is being a generator comes along with being moral and ethical? I need specifics. Because going through life just to respond and be satisfied sounds more like being selfish. And also where does the zodiac fit into concept?
Type is the basic differentiation. It has nothing to do with being moral and ethical. If you really want to know the specific details of your Design, including whether you have a tendency towards being moral and ethical, then go to human.design/readings and order a Personal Comprehensive analysis. All your questions will be answered.

@@bloodgold229 Some people are designed to be moral and some just aren't. Some people need to be selfish in order to empower others. Some are just obviously here to be of service in helping people towards a better future. We are all different. Human Design isn't a philosophy, it's a science. So it can point to whatever is the case for any particular person. It describes the nature of that being. There is, of course, the affect of the nurturing which will depend upon parenting, education, environment etc. - these cannot be predicted. I hope that helps.

Supposedly I am a generator according to the typical chart. I do not in any way shape or form get the whole uhuh stuff. I can tune into a tightening or opening in my stomach but no sounds whatsoever.
I can say that my body completely clenches at the chart this system gives.
You may have just the silent 34th gate in the Sacral. I don't know your chart. But even if you do the ENERGY will rise towards or shrink back from what comes to you from the outside. Watch that in yourself. Watch when your energy moves into doing and when it doesn't. Bringing awareness to your Sacral energy is a wodnerful journey of self-recognition in action. :)

@@SoMagicalMichele Very simply: the 34th Gate doesn't make a sound in its response. All the others do. It is silent as ALL its energy is for the 57, 10 and 20 Gates. This is something that you would learn on a decent HD training course. I hope that helps.

Ra (Alan Robert Krakower) was a triple Aries.
As for low energy, there are several things that can influence how the energy flows and how much of it there is.
But in short, if you're a generator and you respond, you will have energy for it. Until you don't.
If you're any other type (no red square) then you will be riding on amplified generated energy and not know when enough is enough.
If only he had done a talk about manifesting generators.

Hi there, thanks for the interesting upload! I wondered whether the exact time of birth in necessary or can I round it up to the hour or half hour as a rough estimate?
The birth time may be important. It will be important for information under the Line i.e. PHS, but for Type you may be okay. Then again a minute can make a difference. If I were you I would make a serious effort to find your time of birth. You can also go to an experience Vedic astrologer and ask for a birth time rectification reading.

I believe that is language that comes from Karen Curry Parker, not Ra. She put different terms to the types.
As a 1/4 MG Phoenix wife to 5/1 G alpha & mom to 5/1 G healer, should I Respond to what needs to be done with asking my child Do you or When do you want to clean your room, eat lunch, bathe, go to sleep, wipe your butt, etc to get a response and avoid frustration all ways, is question a better strategy in parenting a generator? I wish I’d had a mom like myself that much I got right, I do focus on my generators needs, and I know MGs and Gs are put in the same bag but I just disagree, MG is a freaking nuclear rocket while G is maybe a torpedo lol 😆 I agree with the teachings of MG being it’s own type period and I think only an MG really gets the WHY
Other than that it’s nice to hear 👂 of slave or enslaved mentality, that’s in line with gene key 55 global cycle of transcending victimization, helpful study overall
Yes, a question is better than a command to a G. But your G child WILL respond positively or negatively anyway. So WATCH the energy rise or shrink back in your child. Listen to the sounds that come naturally in response from your child.
Regarding language you are watching the founder of Human Design describe Generators. There IS a difference between G's and MG's - the G's hum the MG's buzz that does not mean they are different Types according to Ra. The open and enveloping aura is the key, which is something that is absent in the 5 Types narrative. Regarding language of being a 'slave' etc please note that Ra is the source of the information, Genekeys is an extrapolation from that.
Not gonna lie, being called a slave by Ra was unexpected and yet insightful. Servant is the proper word, you brilliant old fool :)
He meant a 'slave' to one's conditioning. As in someone who is not free. Without knowing who you are and how to use your own Authority we become slaves of the mind, not servants to some higher principle or cause.
I do not like that he tells the audience that they "have no idea who they are." I think people in general are constantly learning about who they are if they are open to inner exploring.
I think it may be in reference to having a defined ego or not. Which would mean that someone who lives from that egoic place may feel like they have more of an solid idea of their self identity than someone living from a sacral place who's identity is more based on their pattern reactions to stimuli and environment which can seem to originate from outside of themself. And since the 'self' is generally a concept rooted in ego. Although, I do agree with you in that we are all always growing and changing and learning about our identity 😊
@@KnitBone I hear ya. In a sense there really is no "I", but then again there is a healthy way that more sort of water dominant, receptive types can create healthy boundaries so as to have a strong sense of his/her own power. So if that's defining ego then 🤷🏽♀️
He explained why. Because since birth we've been misunderstood and never had the chance to explore ourselves. Thats why we dont know ourselves but we are discovering who we are. Thanks to the power we carry within.
Now imagine being an enneagram 3 type who’s can do, strives to initiate and manifest and get is a Generator.
I’ve had some major lessons that encouraged me to get out of my own way.

It's important to understand that a response is an energetic phenomena. As an example, Gate 34, despite being in the Sacral Centre is silent. I have had clients over the years who only have the 34th Gate in their Sacral Centre and they do NOT make the sounds we are familiar with in describing response. But they still respond - the response is in terms of the nodding of the head, the movement of the arms, the way the Sacral moves towards or away from someone physically etc - it can be felt within the Generator and can be seen from the outside.

Oh c'mon... 70% of ALL people are not the most successful people. Success can be achieved, enlightenment can be achieved, that task done can be achieved, parenthood can be achieved, whatever-you-name-it can be achieved regardless of the type. It is a completely different story if achievement and success are the focus of your not-self. Not everyone needs to achieve "success", neither has to.

No Konstantin not money. Ra dedicated his life to being the messenger of the Knowledge. If you have a problem with those of us asking for payment for our work in Human Design, think about it as the way we can keep on putting out the information. In my case it is my profession, I don't do anything else for money. Would you rather we earn our living doing something else? Then the quality and amount of information and training would be much less.

Richard Beaumont I knew you wouldn’t understand haha but he was one of my favorite music artists and he sadly passed away and 999 was was a way he was remembered and I was the 999 like haha but recently I’ve came to the realization that life is much more meaningful then I ever thought and how I have pure life inside of me and I can’t get enough of taking in all of the information about the human body and the sheer amount of opportunity we have and It’s all about for my real self thriving and shedding my old ways, giving up the whole mentality that each one of us has received when we’re children or as young adults

I can only imagine the artist you remember so fondly had an Open Root and lived in an emergency? Yes, life IS much more meaningful when you know your Design and can witness yourself being in the world but not at the mercy of whatever comes towards you. Indeed, in trusting your S & A one encounters the deep magic of being oneself alive. As the conditioning falls away so much that was so important is regarded as simply irrelevant and the Incarnation Cross takes over. Every 7 years in Human Design brings a new level with it (after 3.5 years there is a 'click' too) and the mystery becomes less about answers and more about awe and gratitude to be so fortunate to be embodied with the knowledge to navigate correctly.
