Could you please give the notation of Pallavi & anupallavi?
In vagindra janaka, janaka means one who creates. Brahma is also the creator of saraswathi.
In Dr. Balamuralikrishna's renditions (both the pre-recorded version as well as a concert version available on RUclips) , the second charanam (Nigama Neerja..) appears much later (7th or 8th). i wonder if the ordering is to be strictly followed.
I asked Varma ji and he said that this is the sequence normally followed.
@@musiquebox Thanks very much. Yes, the Tyagaraja Aradhana versions also follow the sequence given here. In any case, i am thoroughly enjoying Varma ji's singing and illuminating explanations.
@@musiquebox Nevertheless, Dr. BMK might have had a reason for the ordering he chose. i wonder if Varma ji, given his close association with Dr. BMK, could throw some light on this.
I asked Varma ji and he said that Balamuralikrishna Ji had told him that that was how his guru had taught him.
