I say THANK YOU for building this beautyful and amazing Caddy. This story gives me some new knowledge and inspiration. Greetings from Germany!
Brilliant project Dan and amazing to see the transformation from a white van to something to be proud off. Thanks for taking the time to post all the videos and apologies for only catching up now ..... my business got a bit busy as all my customers gardens started growing so time just ran away from me. Shall look forward to the final buff and clean up. Spoke to your mate Andy at Transporter HQ to get my T6.1 booked in for the Bilstein B14 Comfort modification. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Best of luck with those vmaxx 🙈
Dog rough ride, they seize up then the springs snap... beauties 💪
Really enjoyed the whole series on the van Dan. Thanks for doing it ,documenting all the steps and how to videos. It’s been a great journey. I look forward to you cracking on with the golf again. Best of luck with the channel and future builds

Great job mate! Was hoping there were no golf ball size hail stones in the end of the video lol. Caddys looking awesome, should be proud of the work you have put into it. Thanks for the video man.
Looking sweet Dan, bit gutted the series on the caddy has come to an end. Although that does mean back on the golf, so happy days! 👌🏻

Brilliant description, great video 👍
Van sits perfect!!
Quick tip Dan just put coilovers on my caddy and I’ve left the standard shackle in place get more lows;)
Fantastic video as always if it will pass an mot with those sleeves on then guess what their legal and that’s the way the cookie crumbles 👍🏻
Looks awesome mate..🔥🔥

Lol, your passenger side is on the wrong side, bruv!😁
Liked the vid man!🤘🏻
Wish I had that van , great job.
Dan, try this Car Suspension Strut Spreader Socket Tool For Volkswagen, works really well and can use on any setup like this. Love this set up for suspension.
Great series, sorry it’s finished!
Really enjoyed this build, Dan! What next?
Great job , my caddy 2012 needs to be upgraded like yours :)
Just finished watching it. Great vid. Engine swap next lol

Looks awesome 👌🏼 needs some MK4 rear lights though dude
Looks mint Dan, really enjoyed your videos mate it’s a shame it’s all over. What’s next???!!!!
Awesome work and build Dan
Did you fit wobble blocks?
I’ve got the vmaxx but not fitted yet,
I’ve fitted gaz shocks on the rear of mine and hate em!!
Beautiful that 😍
The Caddy looks so much better now it has been lowered, you've done a fantastic job on this Dan so you should be proud of you achievement 👏👏 👍
I remember back when it was all about raising the rear of a vehicle and fitting huge oversized wheels and flared arches but that was back in the 70's and 80's now its the complete opposite, how things have changed!! 😲😬😂👍
Looks very nice. 👍
Which wheels , tyres and dimension are they 😊
It makes for a massive improvement in looks lowering it, did you find the adjustable drop links necessary?
Nice caddy
Sweet 👌👌👌
Great video as always, Just watched you finish the rear. However, shouldn't that bottom plate, be the other way around to follow the curve of the leaf spring ? I'm probably wrong, just that would make more sense. Looking forward to the next one !
Get it up on a raffle for one us to win 👍
Great video. How did you get on with these long term.
😍😍 yes that’s tidy as, what height is the front coilovers set at?
Hi Dan. I'm from Germany. Nice series from the caddy. How I can bye this golden plate betwin the axel.?
❤ the Dan Van , if your going to do this to your Van , remember tyre burn , Pro Sport. Racing adjustable plate ball joints a must fit or you will get 3 hundred miles a tyre on the front at over ninety. M1 Ghost 👻.
Cheers bud. I sold the van about a week after I finished it!
@@DanChambersDAC It was to let others know Bud , it seems to be a big issue when the suspension is lowered on the caddy’s and cam adjusters cam bolts after market , drive you mentally ill before you get it right and the Ghost is not pretty but stupidity fast , and I have had tyre burn blow outs at one thirty’s plus , Good build Dan on the Caddy you have inspired Lads and that’s what is all about ✅✅✅✅ .
Hi mate, did this make the handling a lot better my van feels floaty front end
Wow, very compliments Dan. If possible to know, which kit did you use? How many mm lowered?
Hi dan what is the make of that battery starter you used had it wrote down but lost it thanks paul
Do you have to do anything with the rear drop links
Awesome video as always, vans turned out great!! Where are you located?
What size wheels you have?
I think you should upgrade the rear lights to the newer ones.
Dan you forgot to mention the door guys.... any mugs int shop yet?
Omg I was just gonna ask you when you’re lowering your van.
Dan. What size rims and tyres do you have on the caddy. They look amazing. Looking to fit some to my 2006 caddy..
Dan need some advise my passenger side rear seems to sit lower than the drivers side rear y would that be thanks
Well.
Filth that. Well done.
Hi what are the front coilovers and rear shocks ??
Do you have image stabilisation on your camera for a chance?!
Where did you get the rear lowering kit from
Sick
Super :)
Shallow sump next ?
Great job and video Dan. Did you never install this (or equivalent) kit on Caddys CNG (Ecofuel or TGI)? Asking because looks impossible find this information online
Hi Budd, Sorry this is the only Caddy I have ever worked on.
Cracking job on that van mate 👌 how much did you cut off the bump stops?
Thank you! I think I halved them.
Put a boot build and r tsi conversion 💪
Did you fit the drop plates/shackle plates on the rear or leave the standard?
Yes I fitted them as shown in the video dude
Them little plates u fitted do they come with the kit so the wheel doesn't look forward
Hi bud, no they are a separate part you buy. Just google ‘caddy axle relocation plate’
Thanks pal any links to where I can buy them as I'm in Ireland
