So quick update: Obviously, im using proxies for certain cards because some cards weren't out at the time of recording. (don't use proxies for official events) and... theres no Aerial Eater or Necroquip Princess in this list, because, well I had already recorded this before they were revealed... so that sucks. BUT!! Would i still play them? It depends... i think you can play them, specifically necroquip princess, but i dont think its mandatory. It lets you play around 1 more hand trap at best, but i think the amount of starters and extenders in the deck dont make it mandatory to play either. I prefer having the flexibility of the raging phoenix OTK and Zealantis, than the necroquip package. And i LOVE the interactions with Earlie and Sunlight Wolf. But they are technically cutable for the engine if you want to add Necroquip and Ptolemy M7 too. As always, thanks for watching, especially while i'm away! Unfortunately, that's a risk that happens when traveling, but while necroquip is a great card and Desirae is solid too, I still don't think they are mandatory to be played in the deck. (Also the main deck is very much accurate to what you can expect a list to look like). Tbh if you want to play the necroquip package just add constellar m7, necroquip and Desirae over Earlie, Sunlight wolf and another extra deck card of your choice

Meh. It has good recusrion but thats about it. The player is more important than the deck. Anyine can misplay and have bad matchups. People have topped with bullshit decks because they understand the mechanics and their own decks better than the opponent. Meta decks are well understood so imo u can play against them easier than some other deck with multiple engines.

Necroquip not necessary in snake eyes version and ED too tight
They should just have an anything goes format and let full power snack-eyes duke it out with with full power Tear

I’m a huge advocate for phantazmay in the side for this format too. Shuts princess off and reloading hand is nice
Phantasmay only negates if your opponent targets card you control, other wise it would be great here!
@@MattOsheaYGO it does! Which means it can negate princess effect from the GY to pop one of your cards on SS. Also good to protect against SP!

Can you fit the Melodious engine into this as well, or is it just not worth it?
You technically can but the extra deck is already really tight and you sacrifice a lot. I don't recommend it

I think you "flex Spots" in the Extra should rather be the dies arae and the knightmare phoenix rather then the pitknight and the wolf

I wish Snake Eye wasn't so expensive, I'm sticking to Musket/Fiendsmith until at least the next ban list
