A baby boy !!! how perfect. Bless your family and lil Matt jr or whatever M name you choose :) I hope your wife is doing well too. Oh and PS those cones are perfect in helping my teen learn to drive, and I don't even care that they look littler than normal. Going to the empty school parking lot and setting up 4 (2 in each corner) to teach how to pull in a spot without hitting a cone! And parallel parking too! :)

Hi Matt! I just wanted to chime in about the veggie brush, in case no one else has… 😊
It’s used to clean your root veggies, like potatoes & carrots, etc. The brush helps scrub away the dirt that might get embedded, that may not wash off by just running them under the faucet.
They work extremely well on potatoes if you don’t want to peel them, you can scrub off the outer skin or even their pesky eyes. Hope this helps. Thanks for all the great deals you find. Love watching and learning too. 👍🏼🥰

We used 4 safety cones at the end of our driveway to provide a visual “stop” line for our toddler when he was riding his trike in our driveway. They also kept unwanted solicitors from pulling in while he was playing. Yes, he was supervised but it is important to teach boundaries and the cones were extremely effective.

Hi Matt! The car drain pan is for if you want to change the oil in your car by yourself. When you remove the oil filter, all the bad oil comes out, so the oil pan is how you collect and properly dispose of the oil. It can also be used if you are flushing your coolant system and need a drain pan for the dirty water that comes out. 🙂

The larger caddies are also great for organizing craft supplies, such as acrylic paints and larger tools.
Another use for the tumblers is to drop the shorter ones into the cup holders of your car - they’re wide enough to handle most drinks from coffee shops and fast food restaurants - to keep drinks more stable and to catch sweat from iced beverages. I also use one to hold bits of trash while I’m driving, and empty it when I get home.

Oil pan is for DIY oil changes at home (yes, my father taught me to change the oil in my car as well as some other fix-its that he taught me as he thought anyone male/female who drove or kept a car should know to keep it operating in its prime) and isn't necessarily for a leak. I know someone else has mentioned why veggie brushes are handy to have for cleaning vegetables, but I'd like to add that they also find other uses in my family. To my mom's annoyance, many of our veggie brushes end up as part of the dish cleaning crew since they're good at scrubbing without being too rough. But, I also find use for them when trying to get rid of algae or calcium buildup on things. Whether it's a bathtub, sink, outdoor brick wall, or the floor of my apartment that constantly gets flooded by the dishwasher when it runs. The ones with softer bristles like that are very handy for scrubbing more delicate surfaces like silicone seams. And because they're bristles, they can actually reach in and physically remove debris from the tiny holes in tile or its caulking.
I haven't done it yet, but I imagine they would also be effective at cleaning the glass and lid of a fish tank. Just be sure it's only ever used on that for the safety of the fish. I might have to try that sometime since my sponges don't like cleaning the algae in the corners.

Regarding the oil pans...some people actually change their own oil and recycle it. I buy them as feed bowls for my goats and chickens and water bowls for my chickens...and on hot days, the chickens love standing in the water as well.

The oil pans make for excellent crawfish boil trays:)
The bamboo cutting boards are trash. They split after a few washes. They might be ok for something like a charcuterie board
, but not for washing after cutting meat and veggies.
The drink powders are awesome. No 'sugar' added, but there's something in there to make them sweet. Much cheaper than most drinks from fast foods. They pair extremely well with the plastic ice cubs and tumblers for an all day cold drink..
I've purchased everything I listed and used them. These are my opinion and I, also, am not sponsored.

I shop there and recently was happy to find 5 packs of garden seeds for a dollar! This is a nice and detailed review. I'd caution against toxic non-stick coating in cheap pans, car sprays and deodorizers, and anything made of cheap plastic you will eat or drink out of. This goes for other stores too of course. Most lotions and personal care products that have "fragrance" listed as an ingredient are quite toxic, often cancerous as well. You definitely can find some good deals though. It's my go-to for greeting cards, office supplies, puzzle books and kitchen supplies like sponges and sos pads. I always come out with more than I intend to!

I’m thrilled that Dollar Tree now has safety cones! I’ll pick up a few. As a trucker who plans to become a trainer, something that can survive a student backing over it during practice that isn’t going to cost me a ton is nice! Some of the docks we have to back into at night aren’t always well lit, nor do shippers and receivers always have reflective or well painted parking lines. So something like this with battery operated lights could be really nice to have for safety for newer drivers.

I used to trim my bangs over my sink covered with newspapers. Since I don't have newspapers anymore, that beard trimmer bib would be great for that, too. I also use vegetable scrubbers to help get off stubborn dirt and dried on plant pieces, best for carrot, potatoes, and other veges from in the ground.

Love those ice cube trays. Great for freezing lemon or lime juice in small quantities for tea or other recipes. Also, use them when I harvest my herbs 🌿. I chop & mix them with water or 🧈 butter, freeze & pop them into those Dollar tree snack bags to use throughout the year. I’ve been waiting to see them in the store again.
    Great video!!

Congratulations on you new baby boy!! Babies are a wonderful gift from God. I love the ice cube trays---I have the rectangle shape and they fit perfectly into my insulated water bottle. We also use the sponge holder for the kitchen sink at our house, and the little digital timers are very handy as well---the timer can help avoid issues with computer/screen time for the kids: "when the timer goes off, your screen time is over"---much fewer arguments (at our house, at least.) Also loved the " or if you have a personal vendetta against conditioner." Another great video, Matt! You always make me laugh, as well as giving good info. Thanks for all you do!

I get the “water enhancers” at Walgreen’s for $1.00 a box. Like you say, it’s not a huge savings (25 cents each vs. Dollar Tree), but it adds up fast! My local Walgreen’s has an end cap of $1 food items - including small tins of Pepperidge Farm Piroulines - it’s actually cheaper to buy a few of those small tins than one large one - and you get more cookies!

The veggie brush helps to scrub. That extra dirt that's on the skin as to where your hands may not get too well.
I enjoyed this Must have Dollar 🌳 plus review.
Also I was chatting with a Sam's club Mgr last week. I was interested in the rolling 50 can capacity cooler.
He explained to me if I were to wait. Until the second or third week in July. The price will be reduced on much of the summer items.
Because they will begin stocking Christmas 👀 yes Christmas items.
So talk to some of the Mgrs or stock personnel the next time you visit your local Sam's club.
    Stay cool and hydrated everyone.

Suggestion: use the freezable plastic cubes for ouchies for little boys and girls or for grownup boys and girls.
Caution: A few years back, Woolite brand for fine washables caused fading and color bleeding. Could the similarly named product have a similar effect?
Curious: Did the $5 nonstick pans have Teflon in their nonstick coating? If so avoid at all cost!

Hey Matt, the veggie brush is usually for potatoes. Sometimes they have dirt on them and a brush can get the dirt out of the potato eyes. Those are the little dimple like spots where a root would grow out of it if planted. Those spots can hold dried dirt that can be hard to clean with just your hands. Also, cantaloupe can be dirty on the outside and if you are going to use the cantaloupe in the skin to serve it with a scoop of ice cream, you don't want the skin to be dirty.
