I just don't get this Taylor Swift thing. Yes, she seems like a nice enough girl, and good luck to her, but this adulation and oracleising of this girl is beyond me. I know, different generations and music and all that, but her elevation to some kind of guru status seems a sad reflection on the shallow internet times we live in.
