I like chebe and saw results immediately. My hair is fine, now it's stronger and fuller. No shedding or hair coming out in my comb or pick. I do it every three days. I just started using natural products/herbs. My hair likes it. So my next goal is to change my diet and increase my water intake. You have beautiful hair.
I use chebe every week and it works great for me. Also I have no problem washing it out of my hair. When you mix it with oil and /or conditioner , you can wash it out easily with shampoo
Try infusing it in oil and then strain it through a cheese cloth . Like take the Chebe mix it with your favorite oils (Ex:olive, castor, amla, coconut, grape seed,avocado..whatever oil you like) I infuse in my crockpot then after 3 hrs of infusing I strain it through the cheese cloth. You get the benefits of chebe without all the particles stuck in your hair. I hope this helps and it’s understandable
Question..after straining the chebe in thd cheesecloth can I reuse the chebe particles and if so how many times?? Whay do yu do with the chebe particles after when there is no more use?? Thanks in advance
Davida Braxton I don’t know. I normally throw the chebe powder out . I don’t save it. I heard of other ppl saving it though. Look around RUclips you may find out the answer
Thank you for your long term consistency to give a true review of the product and process.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.... I wish more influencers did this level of review instead of all the click bate.
We started off the same way but I do the traditional method. Oh my gosh your HAIR IS SO PRETTY AND LONG! It’s a beast to get out but I’ve learned that taking out the powder and then oiling my strands really well helps remove a lot of it...not all but most. I know for a fact my hair has seriously retained length but I don’t measure...I just know what my length was before I started and 4-5 months I know that my hair is longer now then ever. I’m almost 6 months this month but I haven’t elongated my hair since last month and I probably won’t check because I just don’t check that often. I’m just thankful that I found the Ms. Sahel RUclips videos...researched and finally bought some. I’ve been purchasing it a lot because I didn’t want to run out due to the pandemic NOT because it doesn’t last. It last a long time but I buy in kilograms to stock up. I originally wanted to do this a few months however since my hair LOVES Chébé powder I might go for at least a year or longer.
okay so big question. What product and brand do you specifically use? i dont trust these brands to give the real product without unnecessary additives and dont know who to purchase it from?
I'm kind of skeptical of Chebe powder. The tribal woman with long hair have been growing their hair all their lives. They take care of it in a low manipulation style with no heat or harsh chemical and keep it moisturized. Chebe where these woman live is very cheap so of course they are gonna use it. Us Western woman have plenty of affordable natural products that we can use to retain length . But alot us want a "miracle" without the consistent and patient hair care. Honestly, I don't want to buy chebe too much $$ but i watch this vid because ur one of my fav youtubers. 💖
I don't think that it's miracle product but it was helpful for me. I have tried to do the routine without using the powder but I wasn't consistent enough to see a difference. Thanks for watching!
Yes, chebe is on the expensive side. Maybe try other Ayurvedic herbs infused in oil or hair mask to help with growth. I personally haven't tried Chebe either but I do enjoy using Fenugreek powder, aloe vera powder, henna powder, Moringa powder, Bhringraj powder, hibiscus powder, amla powder, bhrami powder, and so many more. Helped me grow my hair fast. I started at a fade and now 5 years later a little longer than waist length almost tailbone length. Plus I cut my hair from near tailbone length 3 times this year already so that says something. In addition, you are completely correct about how to grow your hair and retain length! I enjoyed reading your comment!
Chebe is an AID to length retention. All it is... Roasted herbs and plants used as a moisture locking paste/shield and supposed strengthener. For people who have issues with length retention, this routine does helps. It’s being consistent with a combination of things that makes it so effective.... Like you mentioned, plus taking vitamins and minerals, drinking water and moisturizing your scalp. I’m sure if we think something up, there would be a cheaper alternative to it.
Say what you want, but I've been using chebe for 4 months and i went from a short hair cut, so short i couldn't braid it or twist it, i could just put rubber bands on it, to now it being past my ear. My cornrows are thicker, i mean thick thick. I also use it on my daughter and she went from shoulder length to mid back in 2 months.
For the smell I sprayed my hair with aloe Vera juice with essentials oils in it. To remove the Chebe was a process. I did it once a month. I used a basin of water. The basin is used to conserve water knowing that the Chebe would not come out instantly. I apply conditioner to my hair. Then I rub the hair together to work the chebe out in the basin of water. Gently rubbing it. You could see the Chebe and oil in the water. Dump out water. Refill basin with water. Repeat process 3xs. #4 this time I used the shampoo or clarifying shampoo. I used the basin this time also. #5 shampoo again in shower. Repeat I only shampooed once a month. Anything in between that was a prepoo with only condition. Right now I have sister locks. Once my hair locks I will use the Chebe powder again. I hope this helps.
I have a cheer mixture and I LOVE. My hair has never been so moisturized but I only used it consistently for a month. I’m gonna try your eight month stretch and see what results I get!!
I Am Based In Nigeria for now...This Product Chebe Powder And Kar Kar Oil Is A Game Changer As I Am So Happy I Found A Woman That Sells These Products. I started my hair growth journey on 05/06/2023.
Your hair is so beautiful. I only got to 38 seconds into your video, and I’m saying yep…that’s the company…that’s her, Ms. Sahel. I’ve been addicted to looking at ALL her videos (seen them all at least 5 times), even the ones where I don’t understand the language. That’s where I purchase all my Chebe. I stopped using it for a while since I was changing up my hair, doing braids, etc., and now I’m going to back to the Bee Knees as I like to call it. I LOVE Chebe. I was supposed to only use it for about 6 months and the next thing I know it’s been 1 year and I see the huge difference in my hair. Now I’ll go back to your great video🤣. What worked for me to get it out for braids…and it took a lot of work. I would gently take out the loose chebe, put oil in my hair for an oil treatment (overnight), then cleanse the next day. Now it didn’t come all out the first time, but I didn’t put more back in since I was getting braids. I would just keep cleansing week after week until it was all gone…and it did all come out. It’s just a long process. That being said, I’m definitely using Chebe again…and I’ve always used the traditional Chadian way, but that’s not for most people from what I’ve learned.
Try infusing it in your favorite oil then adding to your favorite butters to Make your own Whipped Chebe hair butter. I’m going to try it. Very excited to make it
Your hair and style look so beautiful! I make an oil with it,butter or mix it in a conditioner for prepoo. Also some essential oils add a good scent. Yes it is a combination of things but I feel like it makes the hair softer. Am 4 months into using it and will share my results
I just made chebe butter and it’s very moisturizing! I boiled it to make chebe oil so I didn’t have to deal with little pieces in my hair. I love the consistency and feel but It stinks. Lmao 😂 it has a very earthy smell after boiling.
Hey, I’ve just come across your page and have subscribed! I was wondering if you could clarify how long you use the Chebe mixture for until you completely wash it out your hair? I understand you refresh it every couple days but I’m just confused as to when your hair gets washed out completely? Sorry if you’ve already answered this! ❤️

I do not understand English very well, I am Spanish. Can someone tell me how long I left it on the first time she put it on? And how was she using it for those first 8 months? Or a summary of the whole process? Thanks!
She uses the lco method, she would add her moisture cream then here chebe mixture, twist it up and leave it for 2-3 days. Then she would reapply the chebe after the three days with water first then the chebe. At the end of the week she would wash and redo the entire routine.
I'm a new subbie! Loving your videos!❤ My hair is length of yr before pic, and goaling to get it your length Now! I have the chebe powder, but haven't used yet. Would love❤ to see actual demonstration of the powder. Thanks!
Did you start by applying each ingredient separately and then start to mix all together or did you start of by mixing all together? Maybe that could be the reason why the dramatic hair growth wasn’t as noticeable because you switched up?
According to what Miss Sahel explained on her video, chebe powder should not be applied on the scalp because it can cause irritation. The women she filmed apply the mixture away from their scalp, they focus on their strands in order to retain length and not ''grow they hair'' if that makes sense. Hope it helps you💕

When I rinsed it out I didn’t have any issues with stains. I would only wash it out when I wanted to reapply it. While it was in my hair it would leave a lot of marks on my sheets and clothing but I think that was due to the oil and chebe. I was able to wash everything with out an issue and I mainly wore my hair up.

I love Chebe 😆🤎. For me, it reduced hair fall tremendously & the reduced shedding is what helped me maintain my hair & grow inches. I love the chocolatey/coffee like smell & added a vanilla essential oil to balance the smell. I made mine into a butter but still used loose seeds as well as I plaited my hair. I get a lot of people don’t love the smell or the mess but wearing Chebe in our hair for 3-6 months at a time, if done properly, is beneficial to reducing shedding

This is where I bought mine: sahelcosmetics.com/collections/chebe/products/chebe-powder
What oils do you use to mix it
I mainly use olive oil, emu oil and on occasion coconut oil. Honestly, sometimes I just use whatever I have on hand.
Clarifying shampoo will remove it
I only use clarifying shampoos and I still would have trouble.

what do you mix it with

I love Chebe 😆🤎. For me, it reduced hair fall tremendously & the reduced shedding is what helped me maintain my hair & grow inches. I love the chocolatey/coffee like smell & added a vanilla essential oil to balance the smell. I made mine into a butter but still used loose seeds as well as I plaited my hair. I get a lot of people don’t love the smell or the mess but wearing Chebe in our hair for 3-6 months at a time, if done properly, is beneficial to reducing shedding
