As i may assume, what we saw here, it was an early furnace prototype. Because he really looked lame if you compare him with over furnace. (There is no offense, just my theory.)

So this was Starved's first invention named Incinerator. He tried to catch Amy but he failed when Sonic saved her. He tried catching Sonic instead but ended up tripping onto a skull. So Starved didn't approve this scrap metal & destroyed Incinerator with a white laser beam. Eventually he's gonna make Furnace for Episode 3. And then it's bye-bye Amy.
I love how determined Sonic looks in this animation.
Loving this series so far. Also love the little addition of sort of an earlier model of Furnace (I think Incinerator was the name for this model from another comment). Though wanna point out Incinerator’s “fight” with Sonic (if you can even call it that) as well as how quickly Palmtree Panic went from a Good Future to a Bad Future almost immediately after Sonic had entered Little Planet. Some nice foreshadowing of things to come, and I’m all for it.

I like the fact that someone finally made a sprite animation series about the Starved Eggman creepy pasta story.The animation is good and I like your idea to put a prototype of Furnace in this episode before the stardust speedway racing.Really good work Sensation Studios! 😎👍

I don't think so. The next episode is where Furnace makes his original appearance. It's not gonna be that early version of him. It's the final version of him coming.

Loved the animation, but I hope you use the good ending animation you did for the episode of Starved vs Sonic. I know the "good endings" have been overused and overdone but your version is different from the super sonic ones, and we have never seen what happens after the Good Ending. Like its either super sonic flies away or sonic just goes away, then nothing else is explained.

Cuz yknow, when skin rots it kinda ceases to exist at a certain point.

At first I was like why did starved destroy that furnace and then I noticed starved already knew the prototype furnace would not win so he destroyed it and probably he is going to use that prototype furnace part's to make his self a new remastered new oven toy who knows I might be right I might be wrong.

Another good animtion. I LOVED the transition from present to bad future. Going to guess like some others that this was a furnace sonic prototype since we didn't even get to stardust speedway yet. Also who's skull was that prototype furnace ran over? Was that Rays?

In this timeline at least, im pretty sure cd came after sonic 2. Otherwise tails wouldn't have cared about sonic's death. So i don't really understand the skip from green hill to palm tree panic

That animation is based on the og starved lore which events is happening after sonic 1
The canon Sonic timeline confirms that CD is set in between Sonic 1 and 2. Origins confirms it via cutscenes.

Everyone, i watched episode one and I know cd comes after sonic 1, but tails is upset about sonic's death in the starved timeline, which would imply he met him before cd
you should make the voices a higher volume,the music sometimes overlaps the voices

It honestly should be the good ending, I love these animations. You barely ever see good endings since these stories are very edgy and the people who make the stories aren't that great at writing them besides introducing a lazily done introduction of a character and reuse it over and over lol. Good endings are less stale

What’s the name of the songs
Furnace tripping over a skull and sonic sneezing just before he can see it just makes him even more cocky later on, atleast that’s what I’m thinkin, because if they can’t even handle the speed what’s the point of being so fast?
So we basically got a sneak peek of that skull if your paying attention to details if you watch the whole series, cuz that skull that tripped over prototype furnace was Ray.

I really like the redesign of the furnace here, it feels more like a prototype of the final furnace (I guess that's because it's based more on the sonic mecha design from sonic 2, than the sonic mecha from sonic 3).
I also like to think that as a result of this battle, starved began to plan a trap for sonic, that is, what prey is, since I don't know if it was intentional or not, it shows that the part of sonic vs furnace is a parallel to prey, which I love
