I am a trained primary school teacher and I have experienced many of the same emotions as you in my profession, including burnout. I am now in my fifties and have realised that I could never handle a full time teaching position. The most I can handle is relief teaching, so that is what I do.
Awesome video, Thalia. Coincidently, just this morning I was asking a physio colleague today if he knew any websites that would be helpful to expand knowledge in our particular field. I'll check out the web learning tool you've highlighted.
Appreciate your honesty. About to start in paed OT and concerned already as children deserve the best and frankly as a new grad i don't see how i can offer that. I guess session plan with more senior ot's, if they have the time... Any thoughts?

That's what supervision is for ☺️ it should be weekly or fortnightly as a new grad for the first few years. Ask if you can shadow senior OTs as well!!
