I feel like they could have used that to make such a terrible sex joke about Summer, and they just did not take it. (Regardless of rather or not people like the ship, that still would have been some funny shit. Too bad that would probably cross boundaries for RT.)
The scary thing is that even all this time later, Ozpin's duplicity is still on point even given what we know about him NOW.

Port's section was cut out due to allegations against his VA. That said, they really should have altered the ending because now the punchline makes no sense.

Aren't Qrow's VA also have allegations? Unless they SOMEHOW changed all Vic's line with Jason, I don't know why they aired Qrow's scenes.

@@Abbaschand I think the reason why they kept Qrow's Va voice is because the case either is on going or They couldn't approve the allegations. Still They could have changed the va for Port, get start on that for when his character show up in the show again.
When I first read this, was thinking the teaching part. But no, the one where he has a heart attack. Wasn't aware his v.a. had some stuff jappen.
For those of you wondering what Ruby and Yang were being punished for:
They found a box of abandoned kittens and thought it be funny to shave off their fur to see what they looked like and then unleash them upon the school.
The fire was a completely separate incident that they had nothing to do with, Ozpin thought it would be another bit of good news Tai and Qrow would like to hear

Not that I'm saying Ryan isn't shitty, because he fuckin is, but it doesn't change the fact that he was paid to VA those lines, meaning it seems kinda dumb for RT to just drop those lines just because of the bad association that comes with it. If people are dumb enough to shit on RT for utilizing assets they paid for, then I feel like that should mostly be their own problem, not something RT should actually be getting flack for.

Qrow isn't actually related to Ruby, he's her honorary uncle, not biological uncle. So, Summer (Ruby's mom) and Qrow aren't related.

We need more RWBY CHIBI. Imagine the kawaii that they can do with more episodes and new to RWBY Chibi characters. I know they had a unused scene transition with Coco they had at RTX one year but the 3rd season ended before they used it.

Because what Vic did was creepy and gross, but the majority of the allegations were more unprofessional than anything else. Unwanted advances and comments, some against underaged fans at conventions, are fucking terrible don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending the dickhead. But .... frankly what Ryan did was far worse. Grooming, manipulating, and raping young women for *years*....frankly I don’t blame RT for trying to scrub every goddamn trace of him.

Weiss received that scar in the first White trailer, before the show aired and before the cast made it to Beacon in-universe.

Sad to say I’m convinced we won’t see a new season of RWBY chibi.
With the original series a spinoff like this made sense. But now it just doesn’t match with the dark serious tones of the current series.
Oh well, we get to watch RT staff play a RWBY inspired D&D instead. :/
From what I've seen in other threads, it's possibly because the animator they had working on it isn't working with them anymore. If they did, it would most likely be with another animator, and honestly, if that does end up being the case, I hope they redesign the models. The chibis... aren't really that cute, which considering it's Chibi, they kinda have to be.
