Whats the best spot along margate etc to catch never really been a sea fisherman but ive started to really enjoy it nabbed some wave gerrick on st mikes but havent had luck in margate perhaps im using the wrong bait?would love some tips

For you bigger species like Sharks Medium Hookies Suger makerrel , Choka , works well. Garrick , Salmon etc Live Shad, live Karenteen, mullet, Blacktail, even a big Pinky.

One of the greatest sportsman I've ever met me and my son arrived at Uvango pier. Michelle approached us and asked if we know how to make a trace to catch Samon, Black tails, Garenteens verious other species. Took time out of his buzy schedule to show us Vaalies (pap gooiers) normally fishing in Bloemhof dam, Vaaldam and dams around us. Michael should me to do the trace and was so eazy that when I got stuck about 15 min later I succeeded in making up the trace myself. Thanks for aproching us and sharing well needed help. Maintaining a peaceful and humble atmosphere at all times is the key.
